23 The Colossal Titan Part 2

3rd Pov

Paradise Island, The Wall Maria, Shiganshina.

Currently, it's evening, and the sun is going down, the streets of Shiganshina are bustling with people, many of whom are now going back to their homes after their daily work, and many people are drinking and chatting together as the calm wind is flowing by them, unknown to them that last 50 years of peace is finally going to end.

(Author's Note- It is 70 years or 50 years according to what I know from the Prologue of Attack on Titan or what I know, but since I never read the prologue after chapter 3, and it was in the past so I am not very sure)

Eren Pov

It's evening, and in a few minutes the Colossal Titan is going to attack breaching the walls, and make a hole big enough for other Titans to come in, soon Shiganshina will be covered in blood, and Chaos and Death will ensue quickly. As much as I want to prevent it, I have learned this is necessary otherwise people inside the world will be fed up with the peace, and I also cannot fight all of them without my Titan Form, thankfully my family is safe.

Right now I am near the ships with Mikasa, Mother, Aunty, Armin, and his Grandfather, it took some time to convince Armin's Grandfather but I successfully convinced him also their house is near the gates, so that is the reason that Armin and his Grandfather were safe after the Titan's invasion.

I came out of my thoughts as I saw Hannes near the inner gate playing cards with other garrison regiments, I ran towards him and shouted," Hannes! you are still drinking during your work".

On hearing my voice he looked towards me and saw others who were with me, he laughed awkwardly stood up from the wooden box, said something to his friends, and then walked towards us.

Hannes: Haha! Where are you all going? Didn't Dr. Grisha leave for a trip?

Eren: Hannes why are you still drinking? if you keep drinking like that then you will get Kidney cancer, and it will decrease your lifespan.

Carla: Eren, don't disturb Hannes.

My mother shook her head and moved near us and said," Sorry Hannes, he and his father are like this".

Hannes: No need to worry! Mrs. Jaeger! He is also saying things like Sir Jaeger which I never understood but I am pretty sure he said something similar to this.

Carla: I don't understand what weird things Grisha teaches to Eren.

Hannes: I am pretty sure Eren will become a Doctor like his father, anyway Mrs. Jaeger what are you all guys doing here.

Armin's Grandpa: This little brat told us that he has a surprise for us near the forest.

Eren: I am not a brat!

Hannes: Oh! A surprise? I don't think a kid like Eren can give any surprise.

Armin's Grandpa: I know, but Eren is a weird kid, too mature for his, and goes to grasslands every day.

Hannes: Indeed, he is been going since he was three, pretty weird for a kid.

Suddenly there was a loud thunder striking sound, shocking everyone. Armin looked back from where the sound came and shouted horrified pointing," Grandpa! What is that!", he pointed towards the outermost wall.

Every one of us moved and looked in the direction Armin was pointing when they saw what he was pointing, everyone was scared. I looked at the Giant 50-meter Titan, without any skin showing its inner bone and muscles, Mikasa came near me and held my hand gripping very strongly. I looked at her as she was trembling a bit. I whispered in her ear," Mikasa?".

She responded by coming out of the daze and saw my face nodding at me and shouted," Mother we should go towards the boats".

Aunty Misha: Mikasa what do you mean...

Before she could speak more the sound of breaking walls echoed through the Shiganshina, soon everyone saw as Titans came in, and people started running towards the inner wall and the boats. Everyone else came out of their daze as Carol said," We should go to boats".

Everyone nodded and after a few minutes every one of us was sitting on the boat's deck, soon the boat became full, Garrison Troops preventing any more people from coming in.

3rd Pov

Random Person 1: Please let us come! Titan will eat us!!

Random Person 2: Do you want us to die?!!!

Garrison Troop 1: Shut up! The boats can't take any more load, and if anyone of you tries to go on the boat I will shout him or her!

Soon the people started panicking, my family saw this scene scaredly as Armin said, "Thankfully we were near the gates, if not we could have possibly would have been killed by Titans, or the troops wouldn't have taken us aboard on the boat if we were late.

Armin's Grandpa: Indeed Armin, it seems it was our luck that all of us are alive.

Misha: If not for Eren's persuasion we still would be in House currently and our House is very near the walls.

Misha thought in her mind,' Last time you saved me from the bandits and prevented my body from being defiled, and this time from Titans, I swear to God that I will repay this debt ', unknown to Eren Misha's love for Eren increased and she though Eren to be the main reason she is still alive.

Same like Misha Carla thought,' If not for my dear Eren, we would have probably died or wouldn't have gotten the chance to sit on the boat, Eren must be blessed by God, due to which he saved us indirectly', Carla's love and trust for Eren too increased, and even guessed the right reason not knowing how right she is.

Eren was currently hugging Mikasa, and who was a bit scared before, he looked at her and asked," Mikasa are you fine?".

Mikasa: Yes Eren, I am felling much better.

Eren Pov

Seeing that Mikasa is alright I sighed in relief and asked the system,' System, Any reason why Mikasa is more scared than Original".

System: Host you should stop asking dump questions, she is a child and she will be scared, in the Original due to the promise she prioritized Eren's safety before anything so she was more worried about Eren than being scared of Titans but you spoiled her and she isn't worried about your survival that much so her greatest emotion that time was fear.

Understanding System's Reply, I replied embarrassedly,' Sorry System, I am asking stupid questions without thinking myself, and thank you for as=nswering my queries'.

System: That's good Host, you are becoming over-reliant on me recently, for your growth I won't be answering any small questions, you need to use your wisdom and intelligence, your wisdom is still the same.

Eren: It's fine System.

I looked towards the crowd near the backside boat. Soon a Garrison troop shouted," All boats are fully loaded! start moving!".

The three boats started moving as many people tried to jump on the boats, only to be fired by the guns or drown, the heartless move of the Garrison troop scared many people, and people on the boats looked relieved probably thinking that they avoided that due to being on boats.

The inner Gates started closing but before they could close a loud voice of heavy steps reached everyone's ears.

Random Garrison Troop 3: What the f*ck that Titan is?!! Close the gates!! Do it quickly!

It was the armored Titan which broke the gates and Titan started swarming inside, crown went into a frenzy trying to run away from the Titans, unfortunately for them, Titans were faster and bigger and started killing the, ripping off and chewing the Humans, thankfully our boats were pretty far from the walls by now and we were safe if the boats don't stop, unfortunately.

I saw this scene with bloodshot eyes and thought,' I will kill all of them, even Annie, not gonna let her stay alive after this, I don't care if she was forced to do or not '.

System: Congratulations Host, you have grown from your naivety, hope you stay the same and you got some rewards due to you preventing Carla's death.

System: The host tutorial is over, your real journey starts now.

Eren: Yes, you are right my real journey starts from now.
