More than her age

"Inaya, we cannot do what you are requesting," Dr Maya said. "What we are looking at here is complicated, you have been violated and you are not aware of who it is. You attempted to take your own life, you are now with a child, this is supposed to be reported to police, and we will do nothing else but inforn the police and follow the procedures."

Dr Maya spoke very strictly. And Nurse Lily abiding to those rules showed no mercy. She walked out with the papers to inform the authorities. Tears whelmed in Inaya's eyes.

"No please, please, please don't tell anybody, please, I'm begging you," Inaya knelt down and cried her heart out.

"Please do not create a scene here Miss," Dr Maya was no longer quiet and humble. "You have to under go a lot of processes."

"You do not understand. It would be difficult if you let people know. Life won't be easy. I will have to start from level one again and it isn't nice," Inaya said, trying her best to convince the doctor. But Dr Maya sat with a cold stone having no will to risk her career for a strange girl and her stranger behaviour. Inaya was also not aware of her powers. She no longer believed in sorcery and thinks she has lost her power when she switched her world.

"I can't, I can't, I cannot let this happen again," Inaya began to go crazy. Dr Maya made a call, calling for her. When Inaya walked in circles inside the room, Dr Maya called security to drag the girl away to the psychiatric block in the hospital, to sedate her, and commence with the treatments.

"Please listen to me, please, I don't want this child, please help me, don't let anyone know, please," Inaya kept begging. But Dr Bow, the psychiatrist walked towards the girl with a syringe in his hand. He slowly injected her, to put her to sleep.

"Her maturity and the tragedies she has gone through are more than her age. The girl has suffered enough. I am going to proceed further with her treatment for her mental stability," the psychiatric Dr Harold Bow said. "The girl is suffering, the trauma is making her go crazy, she requires a lot of help, not from the point of view of a lot of counselling and psychologist but clinical practices and treatment.

"Please let me go, let me go," Inaya kept mumbling in her sleep.

Dr Maya looked at Inaya once again, who was heavily sedated.

"What does she mean by no one should know, what is she afraid of?" Dr Maya wondered.

"We cannot find out until she cooperates," Dr Bow said and nodded.

"All right then," Dr Maya left.

Inaya lay there, twisting and turning. Dr Harold Bow sat watching her. He couldn't understand why it was taking time for the sedation to take time.

"Inaya," he called her. "Inaya, are you okay?" He asked.

"No.. no.." she was half asleep, but crying.

"What happened? Where are your parents? You family?" He asked.

"My family.. my parents," tears streamed down her face. "They were.. they..they ere ki..." she did not complete the sentence. "Let me go, let me go," she began to say.

"Inaya relax, go to sleep," he said to her.

But the girl was pretending. She waited until the doctor left.

Inaya opened her eyes. She slowly sat up. The little amount of injection was not enough to sedate her, put her to sleep. She moved from the bed and tiptoed towards the sliding glass door. The pink shaded hospital robe looked weird on her. It was lose and falling of her shoulders as they weren't buttoned properly.

"What are you upto miss?" Dr Bow stood behind her, with his arms folded, against his chest. He looked so manly in the eyes of Inaya. His clean shaven face, white coat and a sky blue shirt inside. It reminded her of her school teacher she used to adore back at school.

"I want to get some fresh air," No other lies crossed Inaya's mind.

"You need to first get some sleep, clear your head, and start with your treatments," Harold said instead and asked the nurse to get her inside.

"I.." Inaya could not say anything further and she was aware how she does not have the strength to run away from him. Inaya walked back to the bed.

"Sir, it's time for your rounds," the girl from the front desk walked in and informed him. Harold looked at Inaya, fixing his gaze on her, thinking for a minute or two.

"She needs to be watched," he told the others.

"I am fine," Inaya replied.

"You will run away," Dr Bow stopped her.

"I will not," Inaya felt agitated.

She decided to not run away at the moment. She decided to find ways after the treatments begin. That time, she saw someone familiar from her past, moved in a wheel chair outside the doors. She ran towards the glass. Her heart sank. She began to hear those drums again in her ears. She stood staring at the man and the wheel chair, moving and disappearing in the distance. "No," she whispered. "No, no, no," she screamed. She began to lose it. "It can't be," she pulled her hair.

"Inaya," the doctor rushed towards her and stopped her. "What happened? Who is it?" Inaya was not even sure if it was him. But she began to tremble with fear.

"It cannot be.. no.. no.. but I ki.." she stopped. "But I.. " she was losing it.

"Inaya relax, what happened? Did you see someone? Did anything happen?" Dr Harold asked her.

"Nurse," he called out for assistance. "Reschedule my rounds timing, call Dr Manroe immediately." He ordered and carried Inaya himself to the room. "Prepare the charts, do not let anyone in, make sure she is watched 24/7, the triggers may get even worst than thus." Inaya did not stop.
