67 I Need Time

Bryce began telling the police officer what he wanted to know as quickly as possible. "Her name is Tessa O'Brien and she's twenty-two years old. She has gray eyes, freckles, and golden brown hair with purple tips that goes halfway down her back. She's about 5'4" and maybe a hundred twenty pounds. I have a picture of her right here, hang on…"

He held it up for the police officer to see. It had been taken two weeks ago and she was laughing because their foster dog was licking her face. 

"She went to UC Santa Barbara this morning to take her last final and sent me a text saying to wish her luck at 11:16 AM. That was the last I heard from her though according to her coworker she called in sick at some point before her usual shift started at three.
