Her Incredibly Doting Boyfriend

When Jenna finished her homework she sat down on the ground in front of Bryce and stared at him, trying to see how long it would take him to notice her. He was rather absorbed in his book.

She was rather impressed when it took another twelve minutes. That was some concentration!

He jumped backward and dropped the book on the ground. Luckily he didn't lose his place. "How long have you been sitting there?!"

"About twelve minutes. I must say, you have rather impressive concentration. You didn't even hear me call your name when I finished my homework. I didn't mean to scare you though."

"Geez, you should have said something… I would have stopped if you tapped on my shoulder to get my attention. Whatever. Do you want to play some Super Smash Bros? I haven't played against an opponent in person since college."

Jenna grinned at him. She loved that game and he knew it based on a previous conversation.
