A Void That Nothing Could Truly Fill

Tessa was one in a billion. Bryce could search for the rest of his life and never find another woman like her. She reciprocated his feelings and they were both all alone in the world so why shouldn't they get married and be each other's family officially? If they had kids, it would be even better.

He had seen her interact with kids in public a few times while they were out and about and she was always excessively patient with them. She would make a great mom; he was sure of it.

She was so fun and full of holiday spirit too. He imagined she had a lot more traditions up her sleeve specifically meant to be done with children that she had done when she was younger. Someday when the pain of losing her family was less fresh she would probably tell him more about them. She had already mentioned a few things this past Christmas they spent together.
