A Rather Important Conclusion

Jenna woke up on New Year's Day having come to a rather important conclusion. She would not be leaving Bryce Fitzgerald behind after the trial was over.

He had been so honest with her about his feelings. When he said that all he wanted out of this year was to be with her and she knew she would be leaving in less than two months she blurted something she probably shouldn't have.

It was vague enough that it shouldn't be a danger to her cover but she wanted to gauge where he was at. Then he went and promised her he would stay with her no matter what she hadn't told him yet as long as it didn't have to do with infidelity (honestly, what did he take her for?!) and she could see he meant it.

Bryce truly loved her. He proved it every day in word and deed but tonight after her embarrassingly loud nightmare really drove that point home. He could have easily taken advantage of her vulnerability but he didn't.
