Michael calmly opened his eyes coming face to face with that familiar darkness
" tch this shouldn't be something I should be getting used to " muttered Michael in annoyance before he glanced behind him

Who did nothing more than scoff before flicking her finger, shooting out a purple light
Before Michael could react the light crashed into his chest knocking him clear across the space only for him to right himself mid air and land on his feet
" been a while since I felt physical pain " said Michael, his tone somewhat nostalgic as he rubbed the spot that was hit by the purple light
Not realizing the surprise he gave to the woman before
' interesting, that blow was enough to cripple a Tier 6 but he casually brushed it off ' she thought before she clicked her tongue in annoyance
' it's annoying that I can't see through him ' thought the woman as she raised her head and looked at Michael

" with that temper and pride of yours I'm surprised you just didn't attack me, sure you get your ass crippled but at least you tried...so why didn't you? " she asked meeting Michael's calm gaze
" I'm a lot of things, prideful, selfish etc etc, but I'm not a fool " said Michael jokingly before he turned serious
" I'm not gonna act like " of there's some mysterious powerhouse protecting me so I can do whatever I want " explained Michael before he continued " I do what I want when I want because I have the power to do so "
" this also means, when I don't have that power I won't put those I love or myself in harm's way because of something like pride " said Michael with a smile

" this world seed...how do I hatch it " asked Michael as he stared directly at the woman, who was quiet for a while before she spoke

A tall muscular man could be seen, slowly walking down a lightly lit alley before he came onto the street, looking around from time to time
