Michelle sat on the roof of her merchant building, calmly watching hundreds of people buying different items with large smiles on their faces, while some took the chance to chat to their friends who worked being some stalls after being hired by Michelle. Michelle found that she developed this habit after ruling her world, overlooking all those under her rule, the reason?

They seemed to be catching up but Michelle could clearly hear them asking how they get hired in one of the areas Michelle owned, even working in her fields had higher pay than working in the garrison. Overpaying for simple jobs doesn't seem like a good business ideal? Well it was never about the money

Plus the more money they made, the more comfortable they were to buy any items she sold, so while it may seem like a lost it's for from it and it served it's purpose, more and more people set her products as the standard, causing less and less people to shop at other places and come to hers, giving her more control over the masses

Michelle snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone jumping up on the roof, turning around she found Mieko who had just landed with a neutral expression adorning her face causing Michelle to raise her eyebrow in surprise.

Michelle was about to ask her what's wrong as she smelt several complicated emotions wafting off Mieko when she saw her staring unblinking to the crowd down below, following her gaze, Michelle spotted Mr. Ackerman being dragged around by a young brown haired woman and the duo were smiling happily

" oh ? " muttered Michelle unconsciously as her eyebrow raised in interest before she glanced at Mieko to see her reaction only to spot the same neutral expression but what surprised her were how her emotions calming down after she sat beside her before she smelt relief from Mieko

' eh ? ' thought Michelle, honestly confused about this situation, but she paused when Mieko started talking

" you know I'm not really surprised considering how much I neglected him the past year, we were even planning to have another child, but I can't remember the last time we even had sex " said Mieko calmly causing Michelle to exclaim internally

' is this why she was sick later down this year? ' pondered Michelle only for her face to turn dark as she heard Mieko

" are men such horny pigs? it's only been a year " exclaimed Mieko before she punched the roof causing it to crack " can't he just jerk off or something " Mieko continued her rant not realizing the longer she spoke the darker Michelle's face became

When Michelle was about to lose it, Mieko sighed before she spoke once more, her face turning eerily calm as if everything just now was an act

" that'd be the normal reaction for someone in my place, but I'm not some unreasonable woman who doesn't knowing anything anymore. I've neglected my husband, the amount of times we've slept in the same bed this past year could be counted on 2 hands and....." said Mieko before she paused and looked at Michelle who was looking at her calmly before she shook her head with a wry smile

" you know everything time we slept together, I just felt uncomfortable? how can I feel uncomfortable sleeping next to the man I once promised to love until death ? how can I feel relief when I see him with someone else, knowing I won't have to be the one to tell him ' hey I don't love you anymore ' " explained Mieko with a laugh though Michelle watched the tears streaming out her eyes causing Michelle to hug her after she wiped her tears

Mieko raised her head from Michelle's embrace as she reached out and stroked her face while muttering in a low voice

" why couldn't you be a man? "
