1 The Witcher & Five Wishes

[Author's Note: Continuing from where the synopsis ended]

he pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance after hearing of the boy's mistake, "So I can't go back to my life?"

Both of them shake their heads as the boy speaks up, "your maids have already found your body and have been confirmed dead, we can't let you go back"

As all three of them sigh after a moment of silence, Cassius speaks up, "What now? you can't just take my life away then send me to hell, I want something since you took my life away from me"

The boy fidgets as he lets the old man talk, "We will send you to the fictional Witcher universe and grant you five wishes of your choosing"

Cassius smiles, "Why didn't you just say that, hell, I'd prefer that to being alive in my old body again", he says with a burst of maniacal laughter.

"So, I'm guessing there are rules on these wishes?", to which he receives a nod.

The old man strokes his long beard, "You can't wish for more wishes and you cant wish to be a god"

Minutes pass by as he ponders the wishes he wants, "I want to be sent to the Conjunction of the Spheres in the year 230BR but I don't think that should count as a wish since all I'm asking to be sent to a specific date"

The boy pipes up, "That's fine, just consider it a free wish as my apology"

"Thank you", he says to the boy before making his first wish, "I wish to be sent with my current body but I want to be a Higher Vampire"

The old man manifests some seats for them to sit on, "First wish granted, next"

"I wish for an ability that lets me learn the abilities, skills, knowledge, and memories of those i bite"

He waits for the old man to nod before continuing, "I wish to have the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness"

"I wish for a small but infinite dimension where i can store anything I want"

"I wish to be much stronger, faster, and harder to kill than other Higher Vampires. my power should be equal to the Unseen Elders"

He's interrupted by the boy, "One more wish"

"My last wish is this, I wish that no matter what i do, who i kill, or whatever changes i make to the world. Geralt and the others will still become Witchers"

"Very well, your wishes have been granted", they all rise from their seats as Cassius' body starts to glow.

"Have a nice life, I won't end this one", the boy says with a smile as he disappears.
