73 Ender

Ender's feet landed on firm soil. He and Aniyoh had stepped through the stitch arms looped together, but now they stood apart, staring down the road ahead. Before them, the bustling city was a stark contrast to the stone walls of Agremonth, and Ender was glad to be rid of the place even if it meant bringing him one step closer to his father in Ravin-Sha. 

Caroline would be between them though, at least he hoped she would. Ender had been to the capital enough times to know the city before them was still a few days ride from the capital, their population would only grow denser the closer they came. He told Aniyoh as much as they started walking in the bright afternoon sun.
