55 Aniyoh

Aniyoh was becoming frustrated with the leisurely pace Silas had adopted as they follow the trail left by Greir and the heavily cloaked witch that had accompanied him. She long suspected as clues to their quarry whereabouts became few and far between that magic had been used to obscure the trail.

The older man had insisted that Ender was brought to a fortress of some kind and held as bait. He explained that exhausting their horses in a chase that didn't exist would only serve to delay them longer. Aniyoh had to admit that Silas had a point but still chaffed at moving slowly when the group became divided as it was.
