58 A Brief History (Nim)

Nim started the Assembly when she still lived in Ibudal some 200 years ago. The gathering was fairly innocuous at first, nine outcast women coming together on the new moon to gripe about the current status of affairs and their lack of work in their varied magical professions.

Before that, at the ripe age of 37, still appearing no more than 18, Nim had established herself in a large town as their predominant and highly regarded healer. She cured sickness by laying hands on the ill and assisted women in the arduous task of childbirth. Her herbal remedies were known throughout much of the land, and people traveled from near and far to procure her wares. Nim, known only as Cora then, lived an always busy, yet remarkably comfortable life.
