Wit & Howel:Luna's tale

The Evergreen's were a well known pack of werewolves for there strength but more importantly a tribe famous far and wide for there outstanding appearance they were most famous for there dark blue hair and Grey colored eyes

but there was always exceptions like Serena Silvermoon who had sparkling silver hair and emerald green eyes standing under the bright light of the moon with her beloved mate Adrian Nightshade both of them had lookes that could knock your average unsuspecting person unconscious

looking at each other tenderly it felt as if at that moment they were the only ones left in the world in that clearing surrounded with tall trees bathed with a gentle light the air seemed to freeze up coated with dripping honey not far away from these dazzling scene behind a tree stood a figure looking like a humanized version of a meet ball slowly with as much care as she could muster Luna Evergreen the leader of the reputable pack tried to slip away without notifying the lovebirds of her existence

it wasn't all that hard as they seemed too immersed to give any other being any thought keeping her stance lowered Luna walked out of the periphery of the clearing before daring to straighten up even so she didn't breath a shigh of relief just yet running with full speed she finally went out of the forest and onto the foot of the mountain once again checking to see if anyone was nearby she collapsed by the closest tree to her felling out of breath

'I almost thought I was doomed this time'

holding her hand to her chest she could feel her rapid heart beat forcing herself to calm down Luna looked back to her recent discovery from a week ago

a week ago there were intruders into there territory but that wasn't the weirdest part after all wich pack doesn't encounter some stray loners no the weirdest thing is that her tribesmen who were usually very sensitive to intruders didn't react at all worst they even were leading the little cubs to play near the area where the unfamiliar smell came from it felt as if they were under some sort of a spell and so Luna had to quickly rush into that direction ready to face a strong opponent that she was fully confident in defeating

but as she got closer her inner wolf flared up acting with such hostility that she turned straight into her wolf form but because of her abrupt transformation she tumbled straight into a tree in front of her hearing the sound the intruder was alarmed she could hear the steps moving further and further away but Luna couldn't move an inch she felt her consciousness blurr continuously until she couldn't resist anymore falling into the darkness

that didn't last long however as she quickly opened her eyes only to see complete and absolute darkness

'The fuck how long have I been unconscious for I better move quickly my wolf never reacted this strongly before these might be dangerous'

thinking so Luna tried to adjust her vision to the darkness after a while she saw that infant of her there was nothing but endless and thick darkness with no form that she could barely see her own hands outline

'don't tell me is this were it ends Ugh I should have known better atleast i should die in a gracefull way mother is gone kill me'

'ah wait she can't kill me I'm already dead then....don't tell me she's gonna cop my corps so I won't get peace in the after life,no no it can't be I wish father will be able to stop her in time..'

staring into the nothingness Luna started thinking nonsense blankly suddenly a bright light pierced through the darkness as if a higher being was telling her to stop her nonsensical train of thoughts a large book appeared right in front of her with a golden cover the title writen clearly

     "The Vampires Fated Mate"

mumbling the words Luna scrunched her face as she felt goosebumps going through her entire body making her hair stand on end

'What's with the chessey name-'

not allowing her to finish her thoughts the book started turning page after page at an astonishing spead with each each turn of the pages Lunas face became more crumbled and pale before it finally solidified into a horrified expression

'this-this can't be real no this must be a joke'

turning her face right and left Luna screamed into the darkness

"Hey if this is a jock you better stop now before I kick the shit out of you,you hear me.."

but even with her frantic gesture there was no sound from the darkness only the book bursting into particles of light scattering on her head finally a voice came into her mind not that it was of any consolation

"You don't have much time now if you want to prevent this you know what to do.."
