Wisteria Wyverns

At that time there were many of them. Soaring through the skies to the awe of the people and if lucky, they would be admired by their own kind as well. But as time would have it, all things that are constant will slowly become unnatural in the eyes of humans. Things that are never a second too late, never a second too early, will always earn ire and envy. Jealousy and hatred. Is it so strange for trees to grow and grass to raise from the earth? It is so strange for birds to have hollow bones and fly with merely a flap of their wings? And.... is it strange, for humans to eat what they please and kill what they fear? To us, descendants of Wyverns who are forced into hiding within the deepest abyss of the sea. Nothing is more strange than the hatred that stemmed from rootless human emotions like jealousy.
