1 The First Wish

My name is Æear{ashear} Yulik Aesearum{eye zair um}, most of my friends, though, call me Ash. I have been likened to a certain red-headed scythe wielder from a certain anime/webmanga, though, I hate to admit, they are quite correct. The only differences that I could ascertain between the two of us is that his hair and eyes are red, whilst my hair is an emerald hue of green, my left eye is ruby red and my right eye is a sapphire blue. Whilst I was researching this character, I found my self absolutely enamored with this world of fiction, so much so that I can barely stop myself reading the myriad works on FFN in order to eat. I absolutely love almost all of them, quite a few of them are much better than the source, there is even one starring the late Technoblade. What I wouldn't give to be in that world, sadly this is the real world, and magic can only truly exist in fiction. If I were to ever find out that there IS magic, first I would be massively depressed for at least a month, then I would start learning absolutely any/everything that I could about it.

Sorry for the long introduction, don't know why I'm thinking so heavily, I'm reading and about to go to sleep. As I lay the 25th volume of my favorite fictitious universe down on my nitetable, I turn off the light, and close my eyes to try sleeping. After about an hour of extremely comfortable non-sleep I think to myself "I need some juice" so I open my eyes only to see an endless expanse of absolute white. I looked around to see more and more of the white nothingness that was surprisingly easy and comfortable to look at.

I turn slightly up and left and see it, despite the background, a featureless white humanoid silhouette, similar to that of the Man-God from Mushoku Tensei, like it was always there, I guess I had to focus in order to see it.
