chapter 4: Birthday surprises

On a Thursday evening, Whitney is in her room and lying on her bed when her phone rings and she finds out it's Lola, she takes a sigh and rolls her eyes.

Whitney's pov :" what does my wonderful friend want this time".

she then picks the call, "hello",hey fie li Lola said ," I told you to stop calling me that" Whitney answered, " what's up" Lola answered (Lola and Whitney have been friends for a very long time now and they each have nick names for each other, but Whitney doesn't like hers). "nothing much, just thinking of a thousand ways to avoid this conversation" Whitney answered. "nice that's good, so guess whose birthday it is tommorow, Pam Pam pammmmm " Lola said. " please stop " Whitney replied, " yours" Lola said in excitement . " here comes the singing". Whitney slightly removed her phone for her ear then Lola begins to sing loudly "you are the cause of my euphoriaaaaaaaaa" in a loud off key tone. Lola's singing makes Whitney giggle , "Lola saranghe " Whitney said ( that's Korean for I love you). "I love you too" Lola replied."so any who, get ready at 8pm tommorow I'm picking you up we are going out" Lola said," do I really have to " Whitney replied while rolling side to side on her bed and groaning loudly to show discontent and disapproval."come on you already promised" Lola said "ok fine" Whitney replied while taking a deep sigh "I guess I can't escape this one" Whitney added." yeah you can't, put on something nice" Lola replied. "put on something nice" Whitney said in a mimicking tone. "I can hear you" Lola answered . "ok I will put on my best, bey Lola" Whitney said , "bey whitney" Lola answered. then they both hang up.
