73 Your choice sis?

Justin stared at Rebecca, who appeared confused before saying "Remember what I said to him, just I had grandfather escorted from here. The agreement when Mother and Father married, indicated when they had a male child this villa would become a consulate, as that male child would become the heir presumptive to Country D's throne. So, on my birth home changed to allow Country D to ensure my safety. That limits grandfather's power here. While a lot of changes, given I have inherited the throne, that is one thing that does not, because now it becomes about protecting Mother, Father, and your safety."

"I get that but everything else?"

Justin shook his head, said "The car I will provide will have diplomatic plates, and therefore touching that will create a diplomatic incident. That Grandfather would not risk. So, it limits opportunities, and do you think he will act at the same school Sebastian Wu attends, with his current plans? No."

Rebecca paused and said "You know coming back home is not option. I like being just an ordinary girl…"

"Sis, since the moment you were born you have never been ordinary, and you will never be ordinary. The question is how we keep you safe. The choice must be yours Becca, not mine. But know that I will do what I can to help you."

At that moment Justin's mobile rang, and he pulled it out quickly answering it saying as he moved away "How can I help you, Daniel."

Seeing that Justin was engrossed in his call, Rebecca pulled out her phone and dialled Abigail, who answered within three rings.

"Hi Rebecca, how are you?"

Laughing Rebecca added "That was my question, I wanted to know how you were after your fall."

"Very sore. The doctors have ruled out a broken ankle, but I am on crutches for a couple of weeks as it is a bad sprain."

"Do you need my help?"

"No."

"Are you really sure, Sara will not make your life easy."

Laughing Abigail said "That is not a problem currently. You saw how Daniel Wu helped me last night?"

"Sara hated that. You could see as you fell, she was urging Daniel Wu, with her eyes to let you fall off the stage and seriously injure yourself. That b*tch."

"She is, but even I know that my grandfather is close to Daniel Wu, as he is to my grandfather. Sara, underestimated the connection, because…"

"Daniel would not embarrass your grandfather in that way."

Rebecca paused before saying "You know you cannot remain staying there. Move into the school dorms."

"How? The only reason I can go to the school is my grandfather pays the fees for a day student, as he does for Sara. A dorm room is up to my parents to pay for. They happily pay for a dorm that Sara only ever uses to rest when she feels it necessary or a changing room. When I asked to stay in the school dorms because I wanted my own space, they said I had to pay for it myself. You seriously think, I can do that."

"No. I know your reality. While CEO Meng treats you and Sara the same, because of the unique circumstances around your birth, he is not your biological grandfather, he is Sara's."

"Mmmm."

"But at least he is nice to you. That is so unlike my own grandfather, who I currently want to kill."

Hearing the anger, Abigail said "What is going on Rebecca? Talk."

"Unlike CEO Meng, my grandfather has his plans for me, that secure his future, rather than being what is best for me. He already has planned who I will marry the day of my eighteenth birthday, regardless of my wishes, regardless of the view of my intended groom. Hell, I know the man he wants to marry is in fact married. Guess what his plans are?"

Shocked Abigail asked "What?"

"He knows people in the government, and he will put pressure on them to annul his marriage and ensure that I marry him without him knowing."

"Unbelievable, he would do that."

"Absolutely. When he wants something to happen, he will do everything to make sure it happens."

"Do you want me to help you? I do not know what I can do."

Rebecca sighed and said, "I just need you to be my friend, regardless of what comes out in the near future."

In a puzzled tone Abigail said, "What are you getting at?"

"Would you be disappointed in me, if there was something that I did not tell you about myself and my family."

Abigail paused before saying "It depends. If it is hiding something that hurts people, then I would be. However, if it hurts no one and it is a private family matter, then it is not a problem. The only unforgivable thing would be is if it covered a crime. But it would not affect our friendship. That I treasure and we will be friends forever."
