Actual motives

It was a tiring day and due to a lot of work, he was late so he went to check if his father was asleep but when he was outside his room he heard some voices from inside. It was his stepmother Cally and his stepbrother Jakes talking to his father.

Jakes said in an angry tone "You never loved him so why did you give this position to him."

"It will not be beneficial for him, he will only be working we will bear all the fruits, moreover the shares of our group will be under Jakes's name."

"Will he ever agree to that?" Cally asked in a surprised tone.

"I have something to blackmail him and he will have to agree to everything I say."

"What is it dad?"

"You don't need to that, just enjoy the fruit."

"Yes dad" then they all laughed villainously unaware of the fact that Allen had overheard their conversation. He was heartbroken and instead of entering his father's room, he went to his room and broke down on the floor. He used to think that his father loved him and blackmailed him for his own good but now the actual motives were exposed and his heart felt heavy. He could not breathe in that house, he felt suffocated so went out of the house and started strolling on the road without any motives. He did not know where he was going; absentmindedly he ended in front of Hannah's house which was a walking distance away from his house.

After listening to the bell Hannah ran towards the main gate; she was shocked to see Allen in such a horrible condition. Tears flooded his eyes and he fell in Hannah's arm crying. Hannah patted his back, hugged him tightly and helped him into the house. They sat on the couch, Hannah allowed him to cry to his heart's content and only after he calmed down he began to explain whatever he heard.

Hannah hugged him "It's ok, you are not alone I am always there for you. You can cry as much as you want because after this I won't allow you to do that."

"I don't feel like staying there."

"You can stay at my place, I have many extra rooms. Now you work for them until I find your mother."

"I will be strong and thank you so much Hannah for always being there by my side."

"Go take a shower and I will give you some clothes to wear."

"Hmm…. Hannah what did you find out about my mother."

"Ah that, we tracked her phone and retrieved the call log which was deleted and now we have to find out the place from where the calls were made, you better focus on your shop."

"Thank you."

"Hmm… go now"

"Yes"

He went to take a bath and Hannah prepared the dinner. After that she received a call saying that the location was found. They decided to go there the next day.

Allen came out praising the food by its odor. Hannah told him about the phone call "First you take care of the things you have to do tomorrow and then we will meet at my place."

"Ok, now let's eat the food, it seems too good."

"Eat and clear the table before sleeping, I am going to sleep now. Good night"

"Good night"
