12 Moving In

She gave me a home tour.

Damn that house was something else.

An extravagent two floor building with kitchen, dining table, living room and all of them fully furnished.

I was amazed.

I hadn't seen a house like this.

She took me out of my thoughts by saying " You can take the room in this floor and your roommate can take the upper floor.

"You have to take this house sister. It's beautiful." Dan said

"I know. I love it. But even if I sell both of my kidneys, I still won't be able to afford it sweetie. Its gonna cost me my life." I answered sadly.

"Oh no, no! replied the lady

The one who is supposed to be living with you has already purchased the major portion including the kitchen and dining area living room etc.

The upper floor has more rooms and are more spacious.

You just have to pay for your single room. That won't cost you much".

"Wait, so she has paid for everything already? Will I not be using the kitchen and living room?It should have been 50-50."

"You can settle all that with them.

For now, you are only required to pay for this vacant room and you are good to move in." she said.

"Okay then, can you give me her number?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't have it ma'am.

I just had to find a tenant for this room.

But you'll meet them soon enough.

You can move in today itself!

Okay I have to leave..

You can transfer the money in this account the day you're shifting.

If you have anything else to ask, You can call on this number." she said handing me a card with a mobile number and account details.

"Sister" Dan was curious about something, I could tell.

"Why was she in such a hurry?

How could she not know who was living there?

How could she not have her number?

Who has all the house booked and only one room vacant?

And most importantly why did she refer to the roommate as them?

Will there be more people living there?

Isn't it all?"

"Yeah, how did you know? Its like you just read my mind"

Sweetie, honestly I don't know.

There might be a family living there.

This can be a possibility if they wanted a tenant to occupy one of the rooms in that house. There is already enough space.

But she mentioned only one, Addie.

Rest might just be visitors for sometime.

I don't care. The house is nice. I loved it.

If I don't find them good, I'll just move out.

But for now I really need to move from the hotel room."

"Okay then, can I live with you for sometime?" Dan asked.

"Oh, why are you even asking? You're obviously staying with me!"

So, just like that, we moved in that house. In a beautiful room which was much larger than the room in the hotel.
