15 Goodbye, Dan!

"Currently there aren't any patients left in the ward, so are you up for a coffee break?"asked Mark.

"Yeah, I could use it!" I said.

I couldn't sleep much thinking all night about what Dan said yesterday.

And this Hot Guy was asking me for a coffee. I felt like grasping every opportunity I get to stay with him.

"So, I didn't catch your name?"

"Stella!"

I'm glad I met you or else I wouldn't know what to do and where to go. And I learned a lot today."

"It's my job to teach the interns and guide them. I'm there for you if you need me". Mark said politely.

"Thankyou Mark. I replied

Could you tell me where the other interns are?"

"There is gonna be division soon.

All the interns will be divided into batches and placed in one ward at a time in rotation.

Your batch will have a separate room alloted to you where you can stay, take rest, study, meet for some time.

You can meet everyone in the common locker room.

They would be working under some resident or be doing some file work somewhere.

You'll meet them all soon enough." he informed.

We had a good chat.

I told him that I was not only new to this hospital but also to this place.

We discussed a little about us and then it was time to go back.

I learned alot under Mark's supervision and was free at 6pm.

I was happy. Smiling to myself thinking about him and I reached home.

Prepared dinner and started looking online for what Dan asked me to do.

I kept on searching for the best academy.

They were fine but not the best. Not something that could train Dan to fight 'The Black Vipers'.

After alot time I suddenly stopped at a name.

'The Red Dragon academy.'

The name sounded familiar.

Wait, wasn't it the name Dan told me about. The gang of his grandfather.

There was a logo of the academy 🐉

I called Dan to look at it.

He recognised it instantly.

"Omg! This can't be a coincidence.It has to be my grandfather's academy but who is working it? He died long back." Dan exclaimed.

"Its sunday tomorrow. I wouldn't have to go to the hospital.

I can take you there." I said.

We ate, watched movies together, I took him out to an adventure island.

We played lots of games together. Took the craziest rides.

"Why didn't you take me here before? I don't wanna leave this place! Ever!"

"That's exactly why! Lets leave. Its late now." I said to him although I didn't want to leave too. I didn't have so much fun in such a long time.

The next day we went to 'The Red Dragon Academy'.

We entered in and Dan was baffled to see the scene in front.

There were many active people of different age group practicing difficult martial arts with so much energy and teaching them was a good looking man, well built, around in his 30s or 40s but you really can't guess the age because his appearance was something like he was still 28.

There was also an old lady seemed like the teacher's mother, sitting on a chair quitely watching all of them.

"Uncle, Dan yelled in happiness and rushed towards the man as fast as he could!"

The man seemed startled to see the boy and both of them hugged each other like a dad who just found his lost son.

They seemed to be very close.

"Oh my god. My dear lord! You're alive Dan" exclaimed the man!

Where were you all these years my child. I thought you were dead.I have lived so many years in pain."

"I thought the same about you uncle.

I had to stay hidden so that the black vipers wouldn't find me.

The man clenched his fists at the sound of the vipers.

"They killed my brother and sister in law. I will torment them to the stage where they beg me to take their lives.That is why I am preparing my army. Reestablish the gang.

I'm so sorry my son. I couldn't protect them"

"Its not your fault uncle. Don't blame yourself."

"Lets go inside and talk, son.

Class dismissed students" he ordered.
