14 Crush and Crushed

"How can I be of help" I asked him sadly.

I had grown to be so attached to him in just two three days.

" You can send me to an academy where I am trained to be a world class fighter, schooled and can stay.

The plan is, I am gonna spend my teen life completing my studies. Learning valuable skills to take over my dad's business. To restart the company.

"It's too dangerous, Dan. I can't let you do this. They are too powerful. Do you even realise this? They are merciless. They killed your family. It isn't that easy. I can't let you walk on fire.

"Okay, I'll look for an academy but I won't promise anything". I told him.

The other day. I cooked food and rushed to the hospital.

"Damn! When will I ever stop being late?" I muttered to myself.

"Late on the first day? Not a good start , girl. You have lives to save. Punctuality matters." scolded the Chief resident.

"I'm sorry. I realise my mistake. I promise I won't repeat it again."

"Today, you won't be guided by me. Find your own way. I don't care.

I told you, disciplinary is what I want." she yelled.

I went to my locker room. What am I supposed to do? I am new at this place. I can't handle it alone?

I changed and stepped out confused.

I turned back to face a handsome man. A hot doctor! Good looking, Tall, Perfectly built. Might hit the gym or would have exercised a lot everyday.

His green eyes shining in a distance.

"Su.. Sure. Ye..Yes sir" I replied foolishly and followed him to the casualty ward.

I saw a few nurses and female doctors swooning over him. He had this attractive personality no one could resist.

I surely couldn't.

He examined the patient reported with lacerations on his arms and his right leg.

I watched him carefully as he cleaned his wound and sutured it.

"Got the chief resident mad on the first day? It might get hard for you." He said.

It took me a second to realise this handsome man was actually talking to me.

"I didn't intend to, sir. I missed the bus."

"You can call me Mark, if you wish. I am a resident here.

And its okay, she'll cool off soon. Just make sure to be on her good side or she'll make it hard for you. Otherwise she's sweet."
