64 Chapter 64: A little Prank on the Neighbor.

"Let's leave these two to Asta and the rest and head over to the Diamond Kingdom, we need to reciprocate on the gifts we receive, right?" Aster chuckled.

"Hmm~ That is a tempting offer, okay, let's pay our neighbors a visit." Madoka grinned with her beautiful crimson eyes shining with expectations and battle intent.

"Hey, Fanzell! deal with these guys for us, we will return right after a short little tour from the Diamond Kingdom." Aster spoke and vanished with Madoka, the two left just like they came, but the scene of carnage that they painted was still vivid before their eyes that looked upon it with awe and veneration.

Fanzell attacks Ladros but the attack was absorbed by the latter, which made Fanzell ponder about it, and the man somehow decided that he will have to attack Ladros with everything he got and push Lardos beyond what he can absorb and pop like an over-inflated balloon.

And sure as hell, Lardos did not appreciate this while Fanzel did not expect that Lardos' magic Cap to be big enough to absorb all that he could throw at his ex-student who was nothing like the brat he had last seen.

Lardos, who was charged with the wind magic by the courtesy of Fanzell, looks over the area and manages to find that Fanzell had protected someone from his attack barrages.

He saw the woman who was the reason for his teacher's defection from the empire and launches a blast of mana at her, but suddenly Mars blocks the blast and saves Dominante. Fanzell and Lardos were equally shocked by this while Lardos simply started laughing because he could now kill his self-proclaimed rival for legal reasons.

Near the border of the Diamond Kingdom:

"Let's not destroy the plot, we can fight the devil bearers and Julius who is hiding in with a fake name, but we can make sure that the Diamond Kingdom can have some nice and chill weather for a month or two..." Aster smiled while Madoka looked at him like he just snatched her candy.

"Come on, don't look at me like that, you can run wild in the Elf rebellion while I deal with that devil and I can make you some really nice desserts I learned from the royal chefs in the Clover Kingdom, so deal?"

"But you take Koro with you, I don't want him cutting in on my fun." Madoka shrugged.

"Sure~ Athena, calculate the area of the Diamond Kingdom and let them have a nice blizzard for a month, nothing life-threatening, just the super annoying kind." Aster chuckled.

<Calculating... Determining the parameters and generating possible liabilities...>

Ice Magic: Arctic Breath.

Dark clouds started swirling over the Diamond Kingdom, but there was no sound of thunder, nor was there any premonition of rain, it simply started snowing, and then the intensity increased enough to cover the land and freeze the lakes.

The scene was so odd that not a single snowflake landed outside the border of the Diamond kingdom and if someone wanted, they could enjoy the feeling of having half sun and half snow standing right on the border...

It was quite a comical sight but for the people of Diamond, there won't be any relief from the snow nor there would be any sun for them, a month-long winter awaited them and when it would be over, the people will have a new-found appreciation of the sun.

Meanwhile, in the Clover Kingdom, the witch queen had lost to Vanessa's new magic, the red thread of fate and the protags received their well-deserved power-ups.

The Witch Queen tells Vanessa that she can do as she wishes from now on. As the Witch Queen prepares to leave, she notices Nero who is tapping her earring. Once they return to the Witch Queen's throne room, the Witch Queen gives the Magic Stone to them.

Upon asking about the reason why the Eye of the Midnight Sun was looking for the stones and what are they for, the Witch Queen explained what the Magic Stones are and that the Elves were the ones who can fully use them. The Witch Queen also explains who the elves were and how Asta's two swords once belonged to the elven leader.

Later as everyone plans to leave, Mars reveals that he is going back to the Diamond Kingdom with a spell he got from the Witch's Queen. Lardos is heading back to help Mars, with the intent to become someone that his teacher can approve of.

Fanzell on the other hand decided to take care of Fana while Mars is out there changing the Diamond Kingdom for the better. Fana and Mars both agree to go see the world once Mars is finished with his quest.

"So, what did we miss?" asked the familiar cold voice of Aster.

Asta and the group turned to see the two figures who made them speechless more times than they had been all their lives. Asta on the other hand was the same peppy fellow who simply and bluntly asked, "wasn't she the fire mage who the Crimson Lions?"

"Yup, let me introduce you guys. This is Madoka Uchiha, my friend, and Madoka, these are the teammates I told you about..."

"The short one is Asta, the witch is Vanessa, the water mage is Noelle, and then we have Fanzell, who taught Asta how to fight properly and his wife along with Mars, who is apparently a good guy now, and finally, Fana who is Mars' childhood friend and an ex-member of the Eye of Midnight Sun, did I miss anybody?" Aster smiled.

After chatting for a little longer and then sent Madoka back to the Crimson Lions and returned back to the Black Bulls HQ with the rest of the guys.

In the Black Bulls HQ:

"We are back!!!!" roared the ever-spirited Asta and the guys who were out looking for a way to cure him returned with either power-ups, nerd glasses, or even mushrooms. The Bulls celebrated with a barbeque and Aster told them about the prank he pulled on the Diamond Kingdom.

Ice Magic: Aurora.

A screen of lights displayed the sight of the Diamond Kingdom under the snow and the dark clouds swirling over it. The sight made them unsure of what to think of this anymore, Yami took a deep drag from his cigarette and sighed, "you brat are an out-and-out monster, not even Julius can pulla stunt like that and go around his day like it was no big deal..."

"I guess, this is what they call someone loved by mana..."

"Hmph, you might have more mana, but I am royalty."

"Hey, let's fight again."

"I am soooo jealous, I will double, no... triple my training and become the Wizard King."

"Marie~"

"Are you hungry, la?"

A/N: The next chapter will cover the festival and then we will move on to the competition where things will start turning and finally reach the elven rebellion.
