6 Human

Five months later....

After Professor Xavier broke the news about the unfortunate accident, I was downed for a couple days. Always staying in my new room at the X-mansion and staring at the necklace my mother gave to me.

Remembering her smiling face and caring nature gave me a terrible heartache and the feeling of loneliness surged. Keeping these thoughts in my head, I let it serve a new purpose. Motivation. A drive to control my powers.

"Since this is the Marvel, there will be a bunch of crazy sh*t happening. And I can't stand by and do nothing when I have powers." I said to myself.

Having the drive to be better, I completely focused on controlling my powers. Focusing on lowering my own body temperature to create my ice form, trying to create ice sculptures with a thought, surfing on ice, just about anything I could think of I tried.

I practically lived in the Danger Room practicing my combat capabilities, lethal and non-lethal.

Seeing my work ethic Professor X began to grow nervous, just the sheer progress that I was making was inhuman. He began to doubt his choice in changing Robert's memories.

Professor Xavier tried to steer me off course my training by encouraging me to continue my education, and tried to enroll me in Bayville Highschool.

I outright refused, telling him I can pass highschool with ease, since I have before in my previous life. Seemingly not convinced he made me take the exams for a GED, which I promptly passed.

During the five months I also met Logan, or better known as the Wolverine. He was blunt and a bit brutish at first, but when I challenged him to a fight every single day....he hated me for annoying him.

But he has a degree of respect for me for my ridiculous training regime. And we became workout buddies.

But the biggest change that happened during my 5 month training was my body. Only 15 years old but standing at 5ft 8, a formation of a 6 pack, and quality muscle definition in my arms and legs. Looking at myself in the mirror I go insane because Iceman shouldn't have super healing and super steroids in his powerset.

In the Danger Room....

"You ready bub?" Logan growled out

"Always ready Wolvie." I go into a combat stance and instantly my body turns into solid ice.

Growling at his nickname he charges forward claws out. "Damn! With your murder claws!?" I quickly create an ice wall between us and jump backwards.

"GRRAAHH!!" Logan slashes through the wall, picking up a block of ice and throws it at me while charging forward.

Before my feet touch the ground a slur of ice shoots out beneath my feet and quickly forming into an ice board. Sliding out of the thrown ice block, I glide around Logan blasting him with a wave of frost and snow.

Logan tries to shake off my mini blizzard but quickly turns into an ice block with his head sticking out.

"Hey! I said close combat you snowball!" Wolverine yelled out.

"Close combat?! With those claws you got on you?" I retort with surprise, "You'll gut me like a fish!"

"Tch...I wasn't gonna hurt you that bad." He muttered. I sigh and snap my fingers causing the ice to crack and break freeing Logan.

"You started this." I pointed at him.

"YOU SHOULD'VE JUST COOLED MY BEER!!"

"I'M NOT YOUR WALKING COOLER!!!"

"BOYS." Ororo's voice suddenly sounded out over the intercom. Logan and I stop arguing and look towards the viewing window at her.

"The Professor has called Robert to meet with him." She informed us. Logan and I huff at each other and head upstairs towards Charles.

Arriving in front of Charles Xavier's office I could hear voices discussing quietly, catching some words like, 'family', 'memories', and 'sensitive'.

Locking those words away for now I knock on the door and hear the Professor's voice signaling me to come in. Entering the room I see the Charles and an unknown middle aged woman who has brown hair and blue eyes.

"Robert I have some fantastic news." Charles smile beaming towards me, "I have heard about your interests in genetics and molecular biology."

I raise an eyebrow and nod, very confused to where he was heading.

"The woman beside me is Doctor Moira Kinross, a world renowned geneticist and molecular biologist. And a mutant expert as well." Professor Xavier introduced her grandly.

"Also an old flame." Moira Kinross winked.

My face lit up in understanding. 'Damn I didn't know Xavier had girlfriends. I thought he was born in that wheelchair.'

"Nice to meet you Dr.Kinross." I happily greeted her and charmingly shook her hand. "It will be an honor learning from you."

"Ooh what a gentleman." She gushed, "And quite a looker." Her eye's practically stripping my body, making me blush from embarrassment.

"Ahem.." Xavier butted in. "Since you so adamantly refused public education. I thought why not bring in an expert on a subject that interests you."

"Thank you for this Professor, but I think you just want me to take a break on my training." I replied back.

Xavier laughed my comment off, "Well a strong body is nothing without a smart mind."

After the general meet and greet, I gave Dr. Kinross a tour of the mansion, introducing her to Logan and Storm, and helped her settle in one of the many rooms.

A few weeks go by as I receive my lessons from Dr. Kinross, and boy were they difficult. For starters in my previous life I was just an average guy, heck even the old Bobby wasn't a genius. Learning molecular biology and genetics was like eating my own body. Frustratingly hard.

Compelled with the will to almost never give up, I tried my hardest and expanded my knowledge on the human body.

Throughout the many lessons I provided a sample of my blood to Dr. Kinross for her to study when she requested it and there were some shocking results.

"This is amazing!" She squealed, her Scottish accent coming in as she geeked over my blood. "Your blood freezes any harmful foreign cells. It's an amazing defense system and your blood freezes completely after a certain amount of time out of your body. Almost like a failsafe to those who want it!"

"But thats not the most mind blowing thing." Dr. Kinross paused for dramatic effect and looked deep into my eyes with wonder and fascination. "YOU ARE NOT HUMAN!!" She screamed with joy.

Blinking blankly for a few moments before...."WHAT?!?!" I jumped out of my chair holding my head and muttering incoherently while walking in circles. "What do you mean I'm not human." I interrogated her.

"I'm sorry let me explain." She quickly backtracked. "I meant to say, you part human and part something else entirely."

A hundred thousand thoughts quickly run through my head as I try to figure out what I am and all the weird stuff thats been happening. 'So this is why I have an advanced healing, and why I'm changing so quickly. Did activating my mutation trigger my non human side?'

"Aarrghhh!" I rub my head in frustration trying to deal with this new found information.

"Hey don't worry Robb." Dr. Kinross putting a hand on my shoulder as she tried to comfort me. "At least you're still human, right?"
