35 <Different POV> Traitor

Knocking sounded from outside Brqi'a's door, and he stirred from his position on the bed. He looked at the beautiful, sleeping goddess before him.

Covering her ears, he yelled at the annoyance outside the door, "What is it!"

A tentative voice came through. "They've appeared with more information, m'Lord."

Interest flashed through Brqi'a's eyes and he leaned forward, placing a hand underneath his chin. "And what did they say this time?"

"The old King was greatly wounded with this attempt. He's currently recuperating."

Brqi'a laughed. An evil glint flashed through his eyes. "This is perfect. Tell them that I appreciate the information."

"Should they continue hiding?"

Brqi'a's lips curved upwards. "Of course. We can't have the final trick to happen prematurely." He played with Xa'l's toes. "And this trick is... magnificent."
