Astrid Moore was pregnant.

She headed home happily with the pregnancy test in her hands, all while she pondered on how to break the news to her husband, Oscar Yates. She wanted to surprise him, he had been away on a business trip for more than a month, and he would finally be returning home tomorrow.

The moment she entered her home, however, she noticed a pair of ladies' shoes that were not hers. She was shocked, but entered nonetheless.

It was then that she heard a woman's voice coming from the bedroom.
