9 What's in the air?

Wedding Day

Each guest eagerly sat in their chairs, eagerly awaiting the new husband and wife. Those who were fortunate enough to be invited, talked among themselves about their connection to the couple. Stories about the breaking news that had spread when they officially came out to the press. The guests continued to talk in anticipation as the wedding party began to take their spots.

Yoongi and Jin's brother, Seok-joon, stood to the left of the grinning groom. Jin felt the past two weeks had moved too slow for him. He waited his entire time serving to return and marry the woman that filled his mind. He stood proudly waiting for the first view of his bride.

Eun-ha was escorted in by Kang Dae, Seo-yeon's family friend. The room came to a hush while the music began to play softly. The pair smiled in greeting to the guests, and whispered to one another in friendly conversation. Yoongi never took his eyes off his young manager, who he recently began to harbor feelings for. He had told himself that it was nothing, but the night of the rehearsal, began to doubt it. Her presence alone made his heart beat increase, and he felt himself becoming less annoyed with her.

She stood to the other side of the groom's party, and Kang Dae took his seat. The music shifted to a soft melody to welcome the bride. Everyone stood to face the bride's entrance. Seo-yeon walked between her mother, and younger brother. The small family made their way to the front of the room. Seo-yeon and Jin never faltered and only focused on each other. The moment they had been looking forward to had finally arrived. They were going to be married. They would become family.

**Reception**

"The wedding was so beautiful," Jimin gushed.

The members of BTS were given two days to attend the ceremony, and rest the next day before returning to their stations. It had been a while since the whole group had been together, and everyone was enjoying each second they were there.

They watched as the newly married couple danced to a song. The guests joined them on the dance floor, and the families were getting to know the other.

"Where did Eun-ha go?" Jungkook suddenly asked. He hadn't paid much attention before, but he realized that she never joined them after the ceremony.

"She's with Kang Dae and Hye," Yoongi nonchalantly said while taking a sip of his drink.

"Really?" Tae asked in surprise. He began to scan the room to see where she was that he would know what she was up to.

Jungkook smirked at his hyung who was in the process of acting as if he didn't care where Eun-ha was. He had been in the front row during the ceremony, and he had noticed Yoongi's eyes occasionally making their way to the maid of honor. The other members had been so transfixed on the bride and groom that they missed the glances. Jungkook almost missed the small gesture as well, but had witnessed Yoongi's attention elsewhere.

"Where is she? I don't see any of them. Are you sure she's with them?" Hoseok asked in doubt.

Namjoon scanned the room with the others, and pointed eagerly forward. "Look, there she is!"

Eun-ha was speaking with Kang Dae and Hye in an area surrounded by their family. They were unable to find them at first, but the crowd shifted and revealed the trio. Yoongi continued to fiddle with his drink, paying no heed to her. Jungkook stood, "I'll go get her hyungs."

He approached the group. "Hey, noona. Why don't you stop to talk with the others for a bit. I know they missed you."

She looked over his shoulder, and saw the others smiling brightly. She grinned and waved. "Did you guys want to join?"

"I'm going to check on my mom. She's been a blubbering mess," Hye jokingly said.

"I'll join," Kang Dae offered.

"Eun-ha, you look beautiful!" Jimin complimented with a sweet smile. The others nodded in agreement, except for Yoongi, who kept his eyes on the center piece.

"Thank you, Jimin," she shyly said. She glanced at Yoongi who she expected to throw some petty comment on her appearance. She was surprised when he looked up at her from his seat, and didn't "correct" the comment on her beauty.

"You guys look handsome, especially with that military haircut!" she dramatically pointed at their heads. They bashfully covered their heads.

"So, Eun-ha," Tae suddenly called for her attention, "Is this your boyfriend?"

Everyone curiously looked at Kang Dae that had joined them with her. He hadn't spoken but had been listening attentively. With the exception of Yoongi, they had never met the young man. Looking at the two, standing close to one another, they did make an attractive couple. Yoongi hated to admit it, but they would make a good looking pair.

"No," Kang Dae laughingly said, "We're just friends. I'm Hye's best friend. Yun-Yun is practically my sister."

"Aww," Tae groaned, "I thought Eun-ha had finally found a boyfriend the six months we were gone."

"What do you mean 'finally?" she gasped.

"You're almost in your thirties, and haven't dated since we met you," Tae teased.

"Hey, I'll have you know that I'm excelling in my career. Love will happen when it's time."

"Did some one call me?" a voice like honey interjected.

The group turned to see Lovee, dressed in a gorgeous blue evening gown, accompanied by her manager, Ji-hoon. The others recognized her instantly, and stood in amazement. The bowed in greeting to the young, talented woman. She greeted them, and returned her stare to Yoongi. He didn't pay her any attention, instead he watched Ji-hoon greet Eun-ha.

"Why are you here?" Yoongi bluntly asked. The question was directed to Ji-hoon, but intended for both of them.

"Bang PD extended the invitation for the reception to welcome the collaboration. Seo-yeon and Jin approved it, of course."

"Kook told us that you two would be working on her album together. When will you guys start?" Namjoon asked.

"They should start this week. The schedule's already made, and they've already shared mixes," Eun-ha excitedly offered information.

"You must be overjoyed, Yoongi! Hoseok exclaimed, "You're finally producing music and not being pressured to dance."

"How is it working as his manager, Eun-ha?" Jimin asked.

"It's going well," she said. She looked at Yoongi, who nodded in agreement.

"I was worried when Kook told us you were going to manage hyung. I thought you two would kill each other," Jimin giggled.

"I didn't think so," Tae loyally announced, "I thought you two would be the perfect paired together."

Yoongi scoffed, "What made you think that?"

"You tease and pick on those you're comfortable with. Eun-ha is professional, and cares about you and all of us. With the way you guys were, I saw a friendship in the future."

Eun-ha and Yoongi glanced at each other, and unconsciously grinned. They didn't think it was possible at the time, but at first they simply tolerated each other and now they could admit that they were friends. Yoongi remembered the night he took her home. 'Friends' she had childishly asked while linking their fingers. She may not remember but he sure did.

She never admitted to him, but she recalled that night. She remembered her lack of control, and her bold move to close the distance. She didn't want to make things awkward, so she never mentioned that night. The night of the rehearsal, he didn't mention it either so she pretended it never happened.

Hearing Taehyung speak of a potential friendship he foresaw, made them admit to themselves that they were indeed closer. The others smiled having witnessed the friendly exchange.

"Unnie?" Lovee addressed Eun-ha casually to the surprise of everyone. 'Unnie? Since when did we get so close?' Eun-ha wondered.

"Yes, Miss. Song," she replied.

"You were Suga's friend before you became his manager?"

"I wouldn't say friend," she laughed.

"They were frenemies," Namjoon joked.

"I still say they're best friends," Tae said.

"I didn't realize how close you two were," Lovee said in awe, "So you're like his little sister?"

Yoongi frowned. He used to think of her as an annoying sister, but now he felt that didn't fit how he saw her.

"Not siblings," he shocked them all by disagreeing, "But I will say she's not as annoying. And she's a decent manager."

Eun-ha smiled in approval. She didn't speak up, but she did not see Yoongi as a brother. She can't pinpoint when it happened, but she really did see him as a friend. Aside from Seo-yeon, he was someone she trusted, and could be herself with.

"It's getting late, and it's almost time to go," Jungkook pointed out, "Hyung, why don't you dance with noona before the nights over?"

"Yeah, in celebration of your friendship that almost seemed impossible," Jimin teased.

"That's not necess-" Eun-ha began.

"Let's go," he stood and grabbed her arm as gently as possible, but firm enough to lead her to the dance floor.

The others cheered in amazement at Yoongi's confidence. Jimin and Tae high fived, still hoping that they would cross over from friends to lovers. Kang Dae joined in with the others, while Ji-hoon stood confused at the relationship between them.

Lovee stared in frustration as they walked off. Her eyes watched as he lead her to the dance floor, and placed one of her hands on his shoulder and the other clasped firmly in his. She felt her heart jump at the sight of Yoongi's other hand rest on Eun-ha's waist. She kept telling herself that they were old friends, and nothing more.

Eun-ha's cheeks burned at each touch. 'What's going on with me?'

Yoongi silently cursed himself for putting himself in this position. He wanted to escape all the teasing, especially Lovee's desperate stares. He also wanted a moment alone with Eun-ha. However, now that he had her in his arms, he wondered if this was a smart idea after all.

The made eye contact, and held onto the stare. She blinked in wonder at his handsome face. She knew he was good looking, but something kept tugging at her heart. 'Do I like him?'

As if hearing her question, he slightly squeezed her hand, and pulled her closer to him. He caught the pink tint of her cheeks, and his eyes widened in question. 'Do I really like her?'

The music continued to play as the guests continued to dance. The pair continued to hold onto each other. Their own thoughts plaguing them. Neither realizing that they shared the same nagging feeling. Both not wanting the dance to end.
