10 The Truth

"I'm full."

He didn't believe her but he didn't want to argue with Hellion. He let it pass this time. When, he came back to the room it was for a pillow and a blanket. Suga was going to sleep on the couch but Hellion deep down didn't want him to go. It became dark and hard for her to sleep. Suga's room was very different than hers. It didn't have big windows. Instead, it had a very small window and it was very dark. Hellion didn't like it and ended up going downstairs. It seemed like he couldn't sleep. Since, he was just gazing at his ceiling and not sleeping. She thought he would ask what she was doing but he didn't speak to her. Why did he offer her help if he was going to be heartbroken afterwards? The past was killing him once again and he wanted answers. Hellion, just sat on the couch and stared at Suga.

"Maybe, I should go." She softly said.

However, Suga for sure didn't want that to happen and made him look at her.

"I'm not mad at you." He said.

Hellion looked towards the ground and said "But you're hurt."

Suga sat up slowly and said "It's in the past now."

She sighed and said "I don't think so."

He frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"

She looked into his eyes and asked "You know, why I did all of that stuff to you?"

Suga didn't know if he wanted to know after all of this time.

"What did I do to you cause I don't remember?" He asked trying to understand her.

Hellion said "I was jealous of you. I hated you very much. You in general annoyed me so much."

Suga didn't understand "I don't get you."

She knew she would regret it but that's the least thing she could do to just end this.

"The wheelchair poor guy got everything he wanted. You were always competing against me." Hellion said as she remembered.

Suga said "But you won either way. I purposely, even let you win sometimes. Why would you be jealous of me? You got what you wanted either way. Why do things to me?"

His questions were coming out and she answered what she didn't want to say.

"I didn't like that you out of all the other guys didn't even pay attention to me." She said looking down at her sweaty fingers.

He didn't understand at this point anymore. "What?"

Hellion chuckled and said "All the boys were after me except for you. I had to do things to you to get your attention on me."

"You bullied me to get me to like you?" He said kind of disgusted.

She noticed his tone had changed to something to be ashamed of. "Yeah, I did. I liked a guy that didn't even pay attention to me. Sad, part was that he was very poor and couldn't walk."

Suga didn't know what to say anymore. He was shocked but ashamed of her.

Hellion looked at him again and said "I know I can't change what I did to you but I can change now. I'm sorry that I hurt you to get your attention. I was being selfish and a bully to you. I did it so, you would hate me too. However, I didn't want you to like me back too cause that would cause so much drama. I thought it would be better if you went off hating me and that would make everything easier."

"I don't hate people. Eventually, karma gets to those that hurt others and do harm." He said.

Hellion nodded her head and said "Yeah, I have been punished for what I did to you. I'm glad you can walk now and own your own business. I'm sure you'll continue to grow and people around the world will be satisfied."

She stood up and Suga looked up at her. Hellion was leaving his house and he just knew he couldn't let her leave in the conditions she was in.

"You can't leave in your conditions." He said standing behind her and she stopped.

That's not what she wanted to hear. If, she wasn't sick he would let her go. Hellion deserved to be rejected by Suga who suffered alot by her.

She continued to walk and he said "Stubborn as always that's why I like you."

Hellion quickly looked back at him very shocked and surprised.

"What?" She asked as she wanted to cry.

Suga said "Sit down."

Hellion asked heartbroken "Are you playing with my feelings?"

He let out a sigh and said "No, I'm not. I'm very serious."

She stood there quietly and didn't know if the medication was making her hear and imagen fake things.

"Sit, please. I'll explain." He said as he waited for Hellion to sit down.

She sat down slowly but confused. He took a seat across from her and gazed at her.

"My parents didn't have money to get me the therapy I needed or the surgery. I was offered help in a different city and that's when I moved away. I missed you for an unknown reason and that's when I realized I liked the bad stuff you did to me. No one gave me attention like you did and I liked it. I didn't have to try at all. I was mad at myself for liking a bully but deep down I felt like you liked me too. I worked very hard to walk again and it was thanks to you. I wanted to be better for you and that's when I was offered your dad's company. I knew I could get closer to you but it kind of hurt. I saw you lose everything and you still didn't change. But deep down I knew you would change for the better and you did. I don't like Megan because I like you." Suga said nodding his head slowly.

Hellion said "I'm really sorry I did alot of bad things to you. I know I was immature but I have changed now. Megan really made me realize that I had a major crush on you but it made me feel you would marry her."

Suga said "And I felt like you would date Juan after eating with him."

Hellion chuckled but stopped. She was embarrassed about herself.

"I don't know. How I can look you in the eyes without remembering what I did to you." She softly said.

He nodded and said "We both need to start fresh and just push the past to the side."

Hellion rubbed the side of her head.

"Are you ok?" He asked as he stood up.

She sighed and said "I'm feeling some pain."

"You want me to make you some tea?" He asked.

She quickly looked up at him and gazed off into another planet.

"Hellion?"

He called her name out again, "Hellion?"

She stood up and questioned it "Tea?"

"Yeah, it should relax you a bit." He smiled softly.

She didn't say anything as she tried to remember something.

"Take a seat. If, you aren't feeling well." He suggested.

She smiled softly and said "No, I just recalled-"

"What?" He quickly asked.

"My mom." She said looking away.

He nodded and said "They can come over."

Hellion didn't know what to say. "I'm just going back to bed and sleep."

Suga said "Call me. If, you feel worse."

She nodded and left.
