6 Ch. 6 - Fun!

We went to a mall and roam around with kookie in my arms. Well, I felt numbness in my arms, but I still endure it. I keep on hiding my emotions because of the feeling that anytime soon I might drop kookie.

Ethan's Pov

We were roaming around the mall and keep on talking about stuff like dancing etc. I noticed yn has been quiet. I looked over my shoulder and saw her emotion. She may be struggling in carrying kookie. Jeez! Ethan! You are so ungentlemanly.

"Hey Sophie you okay? I can hold kookie." I was about to get kookie off her arms, but then she didn't let me. "No, Ethan. It's fine. Looks like you're having fun with sharing stuff. Just go on. I'm listening." She said. I felt bad. I know she didn't mean it in the other way. I couldn't think of such a thing. My feet only drag me to the department store. Then a sudden idea came up to my mind. I found out the reason why I myself dragged me to the department store. I immediately went to the pet's accessories. I bought a rope head collar. "You know what Ethan, you didn'---"I then cut her off "No, I insist." I said then she smiled and I smiled back. I tied it around kookie's neck. She place kookie on the ground. I saw how she massage her arms. I think she got tired. "Sophie, do you want to go to the massage spa?" her face brightens up and nod. I chuckled at her reaction.

While we were laying on our back, the massager told me to turn my back and I did what he said. I saw Sophie on the other side, since it was just a curtain dividing us, only our faces can be seen. I saw her drifting off to sleep and relax. I did as well.

A sudden voice made me woke up. I slightly opened my left eye to see who is was. "Hey, it's getting late. We should get going." Sophie said and saw she's already dressed up. "Oh wait, I'm going to change into my clothes first." I said as she nods and walked out the room, giving me a privacy to change into my clothes. I quickly change, not wanting for Sophie to wait any longer.

Sophie Pov:

I walked out and sat down the near bench beside the entrance. I took my phone and saw 41 messages and 68 missed calls from Jacob. My eyes grown wide as I stared into my phone. I quickly jolt down my phone and place it inside my bag when Ethan came out. I stood up as he walked towards me, asking if I'm alright. I nodded. "Ethan, I think we should go home. Jacob has been calling and texting me a lot of times. Uncle might be angry at me." I said to him and he replied "Oh yeah, of course. I'll drop you at your house. Wait here, I'm going to get my car." He said and walked out. After five minutes, Ethan arrived with his car, asking me to come in. I went inside and texted Jacob that I'll be going home. "What did he said?" he suddenly asked. "Uh he didn't replied yet." I said and look back to the road. After a while, I felt a hand over my hand in my lap. I didn't dare to look down because I do, I'll be a tomato face any time right now. "Thank you for spending time with me today. I'm very happy and I really enjoyed being with you. Thank you for letting me know you as I told you mine. I hope we won't awkward after this night." He said and I blushed at his words. "Thank you for making me happy today too Ethan. It's been a while since I didn't have this kind of treatment." I said while caressing kookie on my other lap. He was still caressing the back of my hand. I was touched and also happy that I get to spend more time with him. I know this is not always. I take this an opportunity to have a moment with him, since after this night he'll be going to be busy again. I held back to his grip and started tear up. Luckily, he didn't noticed it. I felt wet licking the bottom of my cheek. I looked down and saw kookie; clearing out the tears in my cheeks. I smiled at his cuteness. He helps me to hide this tears from him. I think we'll be a great best friends kookie~. A few minutes later, we have arrived to our destination. He led the way towards the house and knocked. "You don't have to do that. You can go now. I'll be alright." I said but he refuses. "No, I have to inform Uncle William that you went home safely." I looked at him and chuckled. "You're such a child." I said and he got insulted. Well, obviously he's playing around. Then suddenly, the door opened widely and we met a two pairs of eyes. "Good job Ethan! You really kept your promise, but I have a question. Where you two did went? I mean it's late. I don't think there is a mall opened by this hour. Where did you get that dog Sophie?" Uncle flashed us some questions. "Uncle since you asked a lot of questions, I'll answer it orderly. First, we went to the park with kookie, we also went to the mall and went to get a massage. Then we fell asleep because we felt really relaxed by the massage spa. This dog is a gift from Ethan. I never liked dogs, not until now. He's my best buddy now." I smiled sheepishly and looked back at Ethan who is smiling at me. "Okay, I'll be better be going now Uncle. Good night Sophie!" he said and I bid goodnight to him too. Uncle went in first so I closed the door. I placed kookie on the ground and walked towards my room. I changed into my pajamas and removed the dust from my face. I slump down in my bed as kookie did too. I immediately drift off to sleep.
