24 Ch. 24

We arrived in the hospital. I was sitting across Ethan. We waited for the doctor to come out. "Sophie is on good condition now, but we still need to check up on her. She's in room 182" the doctor said and Ethan replied, "Thank you doctor." Then we bowed.

Sophie Pov:

I saw my father and mother fighting. My father slaps my mother right on her cheek and she began to cry. I couldn't move. I feel like I was just floating. I yelled, "Stop!" my eyes shot open and sat up. I could feel tears rushing down. I held my knees up and start sobbing. I'm scared. I don't want someone to hurt me. I closed my eyes and recalling the dream. Then I saw Mia, got up from her seat. "No! Don't go near to me!" I yelled and she stop and saw me crying. Her eyes soften and began to tear up. Then I saw Ethan and move back covering myself. "Don't come any closer!" I cried out. "Please Sophie don't do this." Mia came to me and hugged me. I was afraid. "Stop hurting me! I can't feel myself! I want to die!" then Ethan widen his eyes. He thought to himself, 'Is this because of what happened yesterday? Did she thought that I was cheating? I hurt her.' he then knelt down and Sophie was shocked. I stopped screaming and saw him knelt down. I was afraid. "I'm sorry Sophie!" he cried and that broke my heart into pieces. "What are you doing Ethan? Get up!" Mia said, more tears came out of my eyes. "I'm sorry I hurt you." Ethan came near me and hugged me. I was really scared and all I could do is to roll into ball. He could really see me scared. "I don't want to feel it anymore. I don't want to be like my parents." I mumbled enough for them to hear. "It hurts" I said, then Ethan held my face up gently. "Look, I regret it. I'm sorry. I didn't know you were like this when you found out the girl helped me." He said, "We're not together, so no reason to say sorry. It's my fault anyways." I said and removed his hand from my cheeks. The doctor came in and said, "She has a trauma and she undergoes a depression. She must've been gone through a hard time. She must rest."
