12 Ch. 12

I woke up by the smell of burnt pancakes. I immediately wore my glasses and fixed my hair then went downstairs. I went to the kitchen, seeing Noah holding the pan ready to smash the pan towards Liam, who is raising his both hands. I chuckled and they looked at me. "This guy here doesn't follow what I said. I only told him to wait until I come back, but then I came back smelling this burnt pancake!" he yelled and Liam ran behind my back. "Okay! Stop it guys! You look like kids. Lend me the spatula. I'll do it." I said and Noah gave me the spatula. They all went back to the living room. When I was about to get some plate for the pancake, I felt two big arms wrap around my waist. I knew who it was. He snuggled in my neck and said, "Good morning beautiful~" and I blushed a lot but then I need to hide it. "Good morning to you too, Ethan Smith~" I said and took the plate in the near table. "Pancakes for breakfast? So yummy~" he said and clapped his hands. I laughed and he pout "Why is it bad to cheer?" he said and I squeeze his cheeks, "No, you were just so cute to handle." He cut me off by saying, "But ho---" I covered his mouth, preventing those words come out of his mouth. Aish! This kid where did you even learned that?! "I can hear that Mrs. Smith." I gasp in shock. Did he hear what I said? Well, obviously he did yn. Are you stupid? He just said it. Ok now get yourself up before you mess up again.

We went to the dining room and placed the pancakes. "Guys, I made hot chocolates" Yoongi said and the members were kind of shock. Why? Does Bailey do this at all? "Why are you guys so amazed? Bailey do you ever make something for them always?" I asked and he scratched his nape. Seems like, he's lazy to do these things for them. These guys are really something. We ate our breakfast and Ethan drop me home. I went inside the door and saw some shattered glasses everywhere. I quickly went to auntie's room. "Auntie Carol! Where are you?" then the next thing I saw in her bed was a knife. I saw the blood drips and followed it. Then it reached the bathroom and I opened it. I saw Auntie Carol crying with her hands surrounded by blood. I ran up to her and hugged her. "Auntie what happened? Are you ok? I need you to bring to the hospital!" she stopped me and said, "No dear, it's fine. I still can breathe. I jus-" then she collapse. Tears were forming in my eyes and rushed down. "Auntie!" I yelled and shook her body. I carefully carried her to my car and rushed towards the near hospital. The nurses took care of her. I couldn't stop crying. I don't have my right mind, but then I remembered I need to call Jacob.

Jacob OTP: Yes Sophie? Why'd you call?

Sophie OTP: Listen carefully because I don't want to repeat. I need you to come here in the Seoul Hospital now.

I said between my sobs.

Jacob OTP: What? Why?

Sophie OTP: Later, I explain it to you.

I ended the call and I sat back. After some time, I heard footsteps. I looked up to see Jacob and the others. I stood up and hugged Jacob. "What happened Sophie?" I can see his eyes were worried. "Auntie Carol, when I got back home, I saw glasses were shattered everywhere then I went to her room and saw her crying in the bathroom. She then collapse and I took her here." I finished explaining and he just stared at the ground shock. I hugged him and he cried so hard. I did this earlier, but now I need to be strong for him. I need to comfort my cousin.

After 4 hours, the doctor came out and said, "The patient suffered a lot. I saw her cuts on her wrists. She suffered from depression and this happened. The patient is now fine, but we still need to check up on her. She is transferred to a private room now. Just ask the nurse station if what room number is her in." we bowed at him. Then Jacob went to the nurse station. We followed him. I went beside Ethan and wrap my arms around his arms. He held me. We arrived in the room and saw Auntie's body. I sat back and rested my head unto Ethan's shoulder and drift off to sleep due to tiredness.

I woke up without Ethan in my side. I got a little sad. I saw Auntie and Jacob chatting together. I smiled at them and approached them. "Oh you're awake Sophie!" Auntie Carol said, "Yes Auntie. How are you?" I asked then she replied, "Yes I'm perfectly fine now, seeing my two favorite kids here with me. I'm sorry if I made you guys worry." Auntie Carol said and I smiled a 'don't worry-face'. "By the way, Jacob have you seen Ethan?" I asked him and he said, "The members went out with him to buy some snacks." I smiled and sighed. I sat back down and opened my phone. I messaged Ethan if when will he come back. After a minute, he replied with, "An hour, because our manager called us for a short meeting. Then, about taehyung, we'll tell him later what they discuss here." I understand him because I also felt the same way as I was still an idol. Meetings, practices, exercises, diets and all. I replied, 'oh okay, be safe.' I looked down in my clothes and practically I'm still wearing the same clothes. I felt so stinky and itchy. I think it's better if I go home then come back after.

"Jac, I'm going home." I said then he looked over to me and said, "Why so early?" he asked "I'll come back again. Don't worry. I'll tell Ethan to go to the house first so that I can go with him back here." I said and he nodded. I walked over to Auntie, "I'll be back, Auntie." I said and she flashed a warm smile. I walked out then head home.

After I took a shower, I wear a hoodie, since I'll be sleeping there at the hospital. I wore my gray hoodie and black sweatpants. I tied my hair into a messy hair bun. I went to the other room where taehyung sleeps and took his sweater and sweatpants. I also took his underwear so that he can change his clothes there. I texted Ethan that to fetch me here before he go to the hospital. I cleaned up the mess, since he's still on his way. I prepared some sandwich, water and Auntie and Jacob's clothes. After several minutes, a car parked in front of the house and expecting it was Ethan's, but then I was wrong. I opened the door and saw Uncle William; loosened tie, hickeys all over his neck, lip stick stain, and girl's scent. "Uncle good evening! Such a nice timing hanging out with your girl not knowing and caring about your wife." I said sarcastically then he looked down. "Please Sophie stop bothering me with those sh*ts of yours." He said groggy voice. "-and a drunk one." I said and went out. I came back to tell him that, "Uncle just wanted to say this to you, and it's about auntie carol. Since you 'Hangout' with your girl, I just want you to know that Auntie is in the hospital. Jacob doesn't know about your affair and I don't want to tell him because I wanted you to tell him yourself. I don't want him to find out in me. And if you're asking about what happened to your wife, as yourself why? Since you are the one who made her do this to herself." I left and just in time Ethan's van came and helped me to carry the bags. I left him dumb founded. If he already know that it's not good what he is doing, then he can just dump that girl and get back to normal like nothing happened, right?

I shrugged off my thoughts and faced Ethan. I saw his tired face and I decided to peck his nose. He got red all over his face. "I just did that for you to wake up." I said and he replied, "Then I'll be lazy and tired all the time so that I can get it from you." I laughed and hit his arm. "You're joking right?" he chuckled.
