"Yuena I'll be picking you up, wait for me." a man's husky voice said in the line.

She nodded even though he can't see and said "Then I'll be waiting for you."

Within 10minutes a Volkswagen car stood in front of her. And opened the window you can see a figure of a handsome built man, "Yuena come in, we might be caught up in the traffic-jam hurry up." His tone was domineering as though he was commanding her.

She looked somewhat unhappy in how that guy talked to her and clenched her fist and looked like she was holding her self back form arguing with him. She just nooded and hopped in.

There was an awkward silence between them so she turned on the radio to listen into some good music to ease her mood.

They went in the house and didn't say anything to each other.

As she went to their bedroom went to the shower then went to bed of sudden she remembered everything that has happened to her for the past 3 weeks. About how it went like that, what did she do to be treated in such way, though they are already they'll be married soon. It was already 6 o'clock she looked out of the window and saw the black Porsche car parked at their building. Her phone rang it was Jiyao, telling her, he had already arrived at her office.

Puiyang couldn't help but to burst out a laughter and replied "Then you wouldn't have someone you can brag onto others." She rolled her eyes and he suddenly kissed her on her forehead, "We should get going we don't want our reservation to be cancelled."

Then I quickly replied while stuttering "Y-yes"

He smiled and opened the door for the passenger seat. "Here you go milady"

Nodded as I seated in the car he covered my head as usual to prevent me from bumping my head, he was too close that I can smell his sweet scent, and be close to him forever. He saw sniffing me his scent and uttered "If you like me that much then let's get married so I could be yours"

She pursed her lips and felt burning hot, how could he be so confident while uttering does bold words. Then he went back to his senses and told her "We'll continue this." She was still lost in her thoughts so he buckled the seatbelt for her, and stepped at the accelerator.

They arrived at the restaurant, Yuena was mesmerised by design it was full of sophistication, like those restaurants in Victorian era, that only bourgeoisie and aristocrats attends. Musicians playing classical music which made her fascinating to the point she felt that she didn't belong to this kind of society. She couldn't help but to feel nervous and starts fidgeting, then Jiyao comforted her "Relax this is just like any other normal restaurant no need to be nervous."

Then they started serving their meals it was palatable, the presentation was superb, she wait to eat. So she looked down the table and saw spoons and forks lined up to her plate, good thing that she knows how to use them accordingly, she picked the first utensils which are further from her plate. They were quietly enjoying the food when Jiyao said,

"Yuena, I know we've been dating since 2nd year college and it has already been 8years." He told told her in a sweet tone.

"Yes, lots of things has happened do you still remember when my classmate tried to pursue me but u told him that I have a boyfriend?" She said.

"En," he nodded he paused for a while and said "Yuena, will you marry me? We had known each other for long and I love you. So let's get married."

"Hey you should be the one to decide," she rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, that's why I asked you. Will you marry me?"

She paused for a moment teasing Jiyao, she saw the guy's eye was full of anticipation and said "Yes, definitely yes!" As I answered he immediately went off of his seat and hugged me.

"Then we should get married soon my parents is already annoying asking me when will we get married. I'll ask secretary Chen to organise everything. Out wedding day will be set within 2 months. You'll be living with me now."

"Do I really have to?" She asked him. He nodded as a reply.

"I'll move my things tomorrow."

"En. Okay"

After the dinner he dropped me back at the dorm. Xianhua my best friend and room mate welcomed me back she's also working for Jiyao as a chief accountant recently she had found out who was stealing thousands from the funds and gain a good reputation, she's amazing. Beauty and brains.

Out of excitement she spurred "We'll be getting married!"

Xianhua paused for moment after a while she said in low tone, "Then you'll be leaving me now."

"Hey all of us will have our own life, it would be the best if you accept one of your mountains of suitor." She replied immediately.

She flicked Xianhua And let out a laughter that can be heard throughout the room.

It was her day off. In the morning she had packed her things and moved to Jers house after lunch time because he isn't home during mornings he had to attend meetings.

It was a spacious, the walls were painted white a veranda that provides a good view for the city. He lead her towards their room. It was galant as a king sized bed in stunned her at the moment she blushed.

She had organised her things, then went to bath. Soon after it was already dinner time. The refrigerator was full of ingredients, when she was preparing for lunch at the kitchen He suddenly went to her and hugged her back his chin resting on her head,

"Can you please go back to the living room I'm cooking. So I can feed you."

They ate his favourite stewed pork. After eating he told her, he's going to do the dishes so she had taken this opportunity to sleep early since it was really exhausting.

In the morning she had woken up and took a shower once she left the room, she haven't seen him and as she pass by the table she saw a breakfast left with a note.

Good morning or afternoon my wife to be. I'll be having a meeting today I hope you don't skip meals. Eat that breakfast or lunch I had prepared for you. I'm going to finish my work as soon as possible.

Perhaps this how those people cheated in the novels felt. I never thought it would hurt so much. I can no longer take it that's why I ran away in the end.
