C1: MechHigh

"Attack!! destroy it! its just a measly Valkyrie M1 how hard can it be to destroy an outdated model!" Player1 screamed as he operated his bulky mech to slam its fists against the face of a feminine shaped [WildMech].

"Try doing more damage yourself!! this outdated model is very weird, how can it have the aegis system?!" Player2 responded in a panicked manner as she struck the feminine [WildMech] with her mechs Beam Saber but was blocked by golden hexagons that formed a wall.

"F*ck guys this [WildMech] is gonna take us forever and my energy and reserves are close to empty! we might need to run away guys or were gonna pay more than what we will earn from this" Player3 stated as his mech then slowly bent over and lost power.

'Hello I am Maya tech and I am the female [WildMech] these players are trying to murder, for one to understand why I am like this, we need to go back to a few days or even weeks ago'

3 weeks earlier.

"Haaaa! why can't these components lower the energy consumption for the electromagnetic couplers?" Maya wondered as she looked at a ball like object and a meter gauge within a blue space.

This was the Blueprint Room, a subspace of the garage function of [MechHigh], A game of dimensions, spacecrafts, aliens, star beasts, and most importantly Mechs, a thrilling real time game where the players craft their own personal and custom mechs to duel, wage wars, or conquer planets.

A dream of many of this day and age is to be successful within it, you can craft technology that couldn't be done in reality, online, then patent it and sell it, a simple game that swept the entire blue star and influenced lives.

The game was released by the company Intergalactic Entertainment, nobody knows how they persuaded the world leaders but all the leaders focused on the game and even waged wars within it, but to normal players its selling point was the customization and the [WildMech]s, these mechs are natural golem like constructs of the game world named Aurum Star, these [WildMech]s can drop parts, blueprints, and can even be captured to become a personal mech.

"I wish I could just be successful, just once so I can add it to my mech and sell its copies!!" The one complaining was Maya tech, a woman around the age of 20, she wore round spectacles and a big single braid, she had a rather unique color scheme to her, her eyes were shimmering gold and her hair was a beautiful platinum white, she had a good figure for a girl and a pretty face, she was a student at the Aurum University.

She was addicted to majorly enhancing and creating new mech parts though, the other people and students just focused on producing the same product.

"Is it the energy crystal or the coils, maybe the rotator?" Maya observed the spherical object right in front of her, she was able to decrease the consumption by 5 percent but 5 percent for her was mediocre and not outstanding at all, a 3 percent decrease was the norm for all and a 5 was for experts, the current record was a 10 percent decrease in energy consumption, which is currently held by a scientist of Blue Star University.

Maya had been logged in for a week straight just thinking what was wrong with the device and how to improve it further, she had little budget unlike the university supported scientists and had to think it thoroughly herself since she was working alone.

Maya exited the game and awoken in reality, she was using a pod that was given by the university she was at, it was the cheap kind but was practical and she also didn't have the money to buy a better one.

Maya in reality had thick eyebags and was slouching a bit from the stress of being ingame for a week, she got some water from her fridge and a candy bar before she sat down on her desk, she began to plan out her next course of action concerning the magnetic coupler, the coupler was a ball like object that was used as the mechs joints making them highly flexible, these were new inventions of the Blue Star University and was quite popular to the students since it increases the range of movement and adds to the sleekness unlike the old joints.

Maya drew up some plans on her notebook and was also reading some books about energy consumption such as, Laws of energy crystals, Crystal to Mechanical force, and etc.

Maya wanted to leave her name in the annals of history, she wanted to leave a legacy for her future descendents, to which they would proudly say 'That's my ancestor!', she was quite ambitious but she believed in a saying that her father always said to her 'In order to be successful, one must dream big and the bigger the dream, the bigger the success'.
