2 What hurts the most

Sleep deprive crawls creeping over my shoulder, watching me... waiting for any minute to strike. Buzzing next to my rough draft of the Manga's 124th volume of Get away; Vampire comic of the popstar named Ash, Vea's number one selling comic. I glance down at my panicking phone.

1 Message from Boyfriend: Hey babe how are you?

Unlocking my passcode I open the messaging app. Replying is the difficult part... how do I want to play this? Cute and sweet, or Hard to get? So many options how about hard to get, cause why not.

Typing: Doing good.

Waiting for a response my phone buzzes. Full of joy of his company I glance down, holding tightly my soft pale hands. Having the phone opening up the massage app as my diamond eyes sparkle with crazy admiration.

Message: You know we've been together for a while, and I'm getting kind of board...

Reading this I felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest and strangle him itself. Tears rolling down with swampy mascara that stains my trembling cheeks. Quickly anouther message pops up, I don't want to answer, ever, not now... I loved him.

Message: So abracadabra you're single now >_< lol I'm dieing laughing right now. Just fantastic at magic...

Responding is the last thing I would want to do, but almost unable to function I type as physical pain sinks in: Wow... You know what! Clearly I was wrong about you (>^<).

Quickly sliding my perfect-manicured thumb heading over to "The Contact Settings" I tap the block button with not an ounce of hesitation. Unable to stop crying, tears run faster and faster as more thoughts of him and I together flood in. "Forget him, you know what I don't need him! Ya I'm right!" I scream historically. Right now I just want to lie down and not wake up... I'm lonely here all by myself.

Trampled by life I slide shaking out of my ginormous wooden desk. Forgetting to turn off the monitor screen, I drag all the way to the edge of the bed. Looking at the familiar comforting feeling of the long wooden bed frame bed. Plopping face first into the mattress, I turn upwards and roll onto my back. Staring at the huge window beside me I stare into the night sky. "Life... what did I do wrong? I thought a guy for once actually cared about me! Calling out for someone to be with me, Why are you not responding?" Shrieks of denial of reality roar out into the dark.

Stars like angels twinkle, as a shooting glimmering star crosses the window. Ya right reality... you think a wish would come true. Fine if you really want to mess with me then fine! "I wish the guy of wildest dreams would appear in my life!" I mumble hopeless of this fantasy.

Cuddling my self in a ball, laying down on a king size bed with silk sheets of turquoise. Stuffing my face into my pillow crying out in pain "Somebody... please somebody help me... stay with me forever... Love me because no one else would." My hand trembling I hug myself imagining my comic and how totally unreal it is. Fantasy never would happen in real life!

Drifting of to sleep as all around me got dimmer and dimmer until it went pitch black. Tossing in turning in my sleep for what seemed like hours it finally stopped. Feeling arms around my body I drifted off like a soft baby. Warm and safe... feeling like my sleep here isn't going to be the death of me.

Hours later sun shines cracks in through the uncontained window and in my aggravated emerging open from deep sleep eyes. Oddly still feeling the safe warm presence wrapped around my body, I turn to my left... I can't breathe. Who is that guy? What is he doing here? Better yet how did he get here?

Looking down at the completely naked man around maybe a year older than me. Glancing across the room to my artist desk with my drawing tablet displaying my artwork of Ash. Odd... this guy looks alot like him.

Covered in his arms I turn towards his face. Literally like beauty itself made him. Absolute eye candy, Omg... that guy is the guy. Visions of Ash the vampire popstar in my comic flood my head. Getting closer and closer the more identacle they look

An inch a way from his face... his eyes shoot open. Blood red then fades to an emerald green... just like the boy from the comic. Scurrying away as fast as I could away to the other side of the room. Tripping over every possible obstacle on the floor to get away from the stranger.

Next to the corner is my own custom made bow. Reaching over toward the long white polished elf looking bow with ice markings onto it. Pulling an arrow out of the black leather bag, quickly drawing my bow. One move and I'd shoot... "Who are you and how'd you get here!" shouting to seem like I'm dangerous and not being able to be messed with.

Staring calmly and blankly "Wow... kidnap me and pretend that I'm the intruder. Smooth." He responds with his slim diamond, but more on the clean shaven chiseled jawline side. "Real funny, but I went to sleep alone last night!" I challenge as I jam the arrow above him on purpose to shoot the bed frame. "Look lady! I don't know who you are, but I should be questioning you!" The mysterious guy screams my way. "Ok give me your name! No jokes... I want your real name!" Shouting as shock takes over me.

"My names Ash! You might recognize me, I'm professional singer, actor, model, dancer, guitarist, pianist, basically can play like any instrument!" he responds as his eyes turn red. "Ha very funny, you're a fan I should've known! Breaking into my home to meet me isn't ok, you can't pretend to be the guy from the comic!" I laugh at how stuipid this man is.

"A fan? As if... you're a fan of mine! Kidnapping, and all that! Also I really am Ash!" He sighs jumping out of the bed. "No I can't be a fan of a fictional character!" I cough blankly, "Oh then why is my portrait on that old vintage machinery!" He scolds convincing. Staring at him crawling out of the teal sheets my eyes widen. He's naked... Omg this is the worst encounter ever! "Where are my clothes? What have you done with them!" He screams concerned my way. "You crazy nut I didn't do anything!" I panick unable to blush from his exposed skin.

Looking directly at me staring he starts to cover up even more, "Brunette yes you, eyes up here ok!", "Please just at least tell me how you got here!" I sigh. "Well My heart was broken by the girls I liked, and I felt lost. The next day I feel a presence and I guess I followed it." he states knowing it sounds unbelievable. "A girl broke your heart? Who?" I stutter nervously. "Uh... Casey." he mumbles.

This man is just described the comic scene I was just creating... he wouldn't know the plot because I haven't released it yet. This guy is the same guy from the comic! How?

"Sir... ugh I mean Ash, what year is it?" I question. Just to make sure the volume released isn't the same year as the others... the year is tons of years in the future. "3098! it's the year! duh..." responding oddly confident. He is the guy from the comic, but how? This doesn't make sense! "Oddd... It's 2020 right now." I freeze out of fear.

Pulling out his phone, "What your Kutuon is not up or working?" , "What? Kutuon what the heck is that!" I stumble confused. " What? oh here, right there read 3098!" Ash states. "Oh ya well let me show you!" reaching into my pocket pulling out a silver phone with a classic styled case out. "Oh is baby boy wrong! See 2020!" Sighing because gosh this guy is unreasonable. Mocking be in a snobbish teasing way "Oh I'm sorry baby girl!"

Rushing toward the window on the wall on the opposite side of the room. Ash takes a look out and sighs, "I'm not from here... Am I lost in time or was I not real from the beginning?" shaking in his voice as he realizes the new reality.

"Hey Let's get you dressed... you cool with that?" I mumble awkwardly turning my head away from him. Hear from the side, "Uh ya sure!". "Follow me, my bro is about your size. Funny thing is you're taller than him, so his clothes may not be long enough. Obviously your slim enough to fit in his clothes... except my brother is a twig by himself. Ha ha which makes you the ultimate twig!" I laugh mocking him.

Tiptoeing a turn I open the golden shiny door knob. Twisting it I exit with Ash following uncomfortably behind me. "Wow the ancients are really missing out when it comes to technology wise!" His voice excites staring around the dark bland hall ways. "Well... what tech did you have? Oh that's right the tech I made up!" I roast his slugs remark. "Cold... just cold." He states disappointed.

Reaching a door with posters plastered on the outside, we enter. Engulfed in the room of generic scenary. A big bunk bed lay against the wall with a window on the wall it's up against. A computer on a desk sits at the top of his room. Across from the entrance door is the door to his huge closet.

Reaching for the closset knob I walk in. Hipster, punk syled clothes hang all over. Ok what could he wear? It's summer, so we should give him shorts, T-shirt, sandals, and some underwear. At the tippy top of the closet is a white sweat shirt with a dark navy blue logo on it. Slightly below the sweatshirt is a tight white T-shirt, pulling up on my toes I still couldn't reach... "Um this might be awkward but can you grab the white T-shirt?" I ask embarrassed of the situation. "Ummm... ya sure, no problem." His tenor voice swirls just like the comic.

With no effort the shirt is pulled down into his hand. The third shelf is rowed with shorts. Black shorts with white stripes lay folded neatly as I grab it and hand it to Ash. Below the shelves is a shoe rack, sitting on the bottom row is black slides. Reaching closer to the ground pulling the shoes out of the little cubby, and handing them to him. Rising back to level, I turn toward a dark oak drawer. Pulling the first drawer and pulling out a pair of new underwear. Holding with one hand I hand it toward Ash.

"Ok! How about you change in here... Then we can go to the mall and buy you some clothes. Is that ok?" I state the plan to him. "Uh ya sounds cool!" Responding awkwardly as he shuts the door.

Twenty minutes later the door opens. My entire jaw on the floor... I stand speachless. Dang! He lookin like a celebrity... well he is one. A layer of blush swarms my swooning face. "You ready to go?" I mumble. "Yes, let's go."he stumbles confidently. Walking out of the closet I reach for his slim warm hands. Holding it tight in mine I walk out of the room and head over to the long staircase. Walking farther and farther down I could feel his heart racing.

At the bottom step, we are right in front of the door. "Wait here! I'm going to change into something real quick." I say quickly as I head of taking a right into a hallway past the open floor plan kitchen and living room. Walking into my mother's closet I grab one of her white hoodies with a random logo on it. Rushing to a mirror, I put my hair up into a soft messy bun.

Staring at myself in the mirror I honestly think I don't look that bad. Turning my head from the vanity dresser I rush down the long narrow hallway; open the door turning cold knob room door. Rushing over to the front door, I trip on the staircase and fall straight on the ground.

Sitting in pain as Ash runs over squatting down at my level. "Hey are you ok?" he questions like he could burst out laughing in any second. Grumbling in awkwardness "Ya... I'm good.".

Reaching out his hand for me to get up, I place my shakey hand in the palm. Pulling myself up, I open the tall oak door. Starting out journey, we walk over to my car.

Parked beautifully a silver car glistens in the light. Pulling the door open I hop inside, on the other side Ash is climbing inside on his side. In the drivers seat I back out slowly, and turn out of the neighborhood.

Thirty minutes later, We arrive in a huge parking lot. "Hey! Where is this?" Ash calls and turns to me. Tilting my head over at his emerald eyes, "The mall... you know what that is right?" I squirm in my voice. "Ok... let's head inside." He mumbles.

Pushing the door open, walking out over to the trunk of the car. Aproching Ash I look him straight in the eyes, "My names Vea... if you want to call me lady instead I'm not going to stop you!" I chuckle sarcastically. "Ok cool... thanks for helping me out! You are a comic writer, yes. That comic you made isn't based off of me right? Like I'm not tied to it?" He questions as his green eyes lay draining to red.

Unaware of his question from the distraction of girls swooning over him, "Ya sure... what about you?" I mumble assuming he said: You having a good day? "Ok so people won't think I'm a Mang character." He states awkwardly.

Heading closer to the huge building. We Aproch the door with girls along the malls sidewalk checking Ash out, as we walk inside.

Turning to him having a cheeky smirk, slightly moving his arm waving.

In the middle of the shiny marble floor, an escalator sits separating the left and the right path. Bursting off straight for the escalator, Ash heads up to the second floor. Walking closer to the black trimmed safety railing, I place my hand onto it. Stepping quickly on the step as I follow him. Getting higher and higher up until we aproching the top. Walking off he heads straight for a shop with big bold letters.

"Brodets" Wow what an odd name for a store, but ok... Ash probably knows what it is? Uh oh... it's named after the shop in the comic! The shop is where he first met his celebrity rival! What if the same thing happens again? No... the future doesn't repeat, or would that future be the past? So now history repeats itself? Now I'm confused.

Ash being three steps from entering; Sprinting over to him as quickly as possible grabing his arm, "I told you not to run off! What happened to the agreement?" I scold annoyed by his lacking of rules. "I didn't run off, it's just you're too slow!" He teases, well I hope he's teasing if not he is going to be sorry! Ash quickly walks inside, and heads straight for the shirts aisle.

Scrolling between shirts on the long rack as if he was a machine. "Wow... somebody's grumpy today." I mumble lowly to make sure he couldn't hear. Turning his angered head at me, "You! I wouldn't be here if you didn't sign the contract!". "What are you talking about! Ash I didn't sign any contract..." Scolding while whispering I give him an obnoxious face. "Ya you did! I wouldn't be here if you weren't in distress, so don't tell me what and how I have to be. It's also proper edict to treat me with respect!" He whispers angry, as he grabs three different colored and patterned shirts of the silver rack.

Walking around the aisle he storms off coldly. Following him, he stands blankly looking at jeans. The tall wall of cubbies with different styles, colors, and sizes of jeans; Ash grabs dark blue jeans, and then grabs a medium and a light blue pair too.

Shocked he turns his slim head over at me. "I thought I made it clear. I can do this on my own!" He squeals like a cute immature kid. Walking closer to him I place my hand on his, "You aren't even mature enough to cross the street! And I met you like three hours ago..." I scoff back.

Moving his hand away from mine, he turns me, up leaning against (more like pinned against, I know send help!) ,the wall. Sliding his hand onto my shoulder and up to my face, "Wow not so tough now big girl!" He whispers into my small pointed like ears. How dare he! Joke's on you dude I can make a pretty strong kick to the nuts!

Sliding my leg in between his legs... I wham up! "Aaahg!" Ash sighs. "What the heck! It says a kick to turn crotch can bring you down to the ground, well according to the internet!" I complain at the fact he barely even winced at the kick. "Little girl let me pay, so we can leave and head back to your place." He causually states as he walks away. How come when he says a cheesy exit it seems so cool, when I do it's pure cringe! Dang I hate that guy!

Walking to the front of the store as Ash is pulling out his phone. Noticing the store clerk drooling all over him, she scans his phone. "Thank you for shopping today!" She smiles, as he walks off. As he's heading to the front anouther guy walks into Ash. "Really dude! Why did you run into me? Don't you know who I am?" A model looking guy shouts with his brown eyes raging out of his skull. Not going to lie he looks just like Jake Gondella; famous singer in the band Bobro.

Odd he is experiencing the comic's story line, even when it's the same time period. "Of course I don't know who you are! High ego's are one thing, but if you don't even have talent to back it up... it's disgraceful!" Ash shouts coldly looking down on him. Shoving Ash to the side he roars flicking his red hair to the side "Oh I don't have talent! You know what how about you come down in the center of the mall and show me just how talented you are!" He scoffs, then mocks poor annoying Ash "Like you have any skill!".

Walking up to him, Ash shouts so everyone could hear "I except your challenge! May you be humiliated after telling me your name.". Chuckling he looks straight up at Ash, "Oof you're going to be regretting this! I'm Jake Gondella, you may have heard of my band's music!". Staring down on Jake, "You have a band? So you depend on others, yet you treat people like trash even when you are in the wrong!" Ash states calm and collectively. The Sorrounding pedestrians start shouting in excitement. "Follow me! I'm going to put you in your place! We're going to perform in front of the whole mall." Jake growls angered.

Suddenly Ash shouts out "Vea come on! The whole mall's waiting on you! Do you really want to disappoint all the people hear?", Glancing at his evil smirk, "Ugh! Jerk, I leave you alone for two seconds and you already get into a fight!" I scream following them while pushing against through the crowd of Jake's screaming fans.

Quickly a clear path appears as his bodyguards show up. Jake stares like he's going to murder Ash, "You probably aren't used to this treatment." Attempting to flex on us, Ash interrupts "Maybe this battle might turn your fans into mine? Don't get so cocky weirdo.". Unable to take this nonstop bickering I raise my voice at them"You two! Just shut up, so we can get this over with!".

Not realizing how quick we got there, "Ok we're here! Vea can you be in the front of the crowd? Ash... Jack, you two get ready for the audience to come in and warm up! Also Ash if you need an instrument we have a guitar, but it's acoustic." Jake's manager asks, "Ok got it! Thx I'll use it, do you have a pick?" Ash mumbles. "Yes! Ok off you go you two!".

Walking around to the empty audience plat form I take the very middle seat in the front row. Sitting down in the soft black seat in the consort seating area.

*Switching to Ash's perspective*

"Ash you're on in five minutes! Jake's almost finnished." The manger asks as he stiffens up. A sudden swarm of cheers of screams for their affection towards Jake. Quickly Jake slips through the tall black curtain. "Ok you're up! Good luck, you'll need it!" Jake hisses as I walk out onto the stage with the most beautiful shiny brown guitar I've laid my own green eyes on.

Standing up on the stage expecting for a few people in the audience, but it was just like the good old days. Calling out into the micheophone "What's up cool kids!" A sudden cheer springs back, "My names Ash! I look forward to performing for you.".

Holding the pick I let out a loud strum. I'll play the song I wrote for the girl that broke my heart... She was my everything, but she left. Shifting between a couple chords as my heart pours out "

You said I was yours

But I'm not the right chords

Told me you loved me

I guess it means nothing

So it seems

You aways have an excuse for something

Falling now you see

Felling down

Can't remember your smile

Now can't help but but frown

Sorry I'm so juvenile

You broke my heart,

from the start!

Now I guess I'm sinking

sinking down to your level

Sinking sinking sinking

I'm going down down, I'm sinking!

Let me go

The reason why I don't even know

remeber the day

the words we say

Missing you

Can't help wishing it's untrue

You broke my heart,

from the start!

Now I guess I'm sinking

sinking down to your level

Sinking sinking sinking

I'm going down down, I'm sinking!".

Finishing the first half of the song, I countinue to sing as every word feels like I'm going to break. Looking into the sea of people I notice Vea, But why is she crying? Pearing down, she looks up at me with her eyes of pure ice. Then I notice the whole crowd is crying, is it something I did? Maybe the just are really emotional? Ooooo goosh that means they liked my song! All that time I spent writing it is now finnally worth it.

Right as I finish the song the crowd screams, "Omg just like the comic! Love you Cinmonroll!" What cinnamonrol? What do you mean comic? Her comic wasn't about me..., I'm not a comic character! More shouts pierce out with energy "Whoop whoop! Nice song dude! You look just like the charecter Ash from: Get away. Sorry Jake, but he is the vampire popstar, actor, model!'. Wait I didn't tell Vea is was a vampire, and how would the audience know?

I take a bow, "Thank you! But what do you mean I look just like the guy from the comic?". An audience member shows a picture of me I didn't remeber taking on the monitor infront of me. "Wow this guy stole my face!" I joke to look less like an ablivious dork. Taking anouther bow I exit the stage.

What will happen now? The found out I wasn't human are they going to hurt me?
