"Dion said something silly to you, did he?" Lewis asked as Devon kept following him around, and now she was even sitting beside him while they eat.

Devon shook her head innocently. "I just thought if you keep distancing yourself, I will have to make sure to keep the gap close."

  "Who said I'm distancing myself to you?" his brows furrowed, leaning his side against the edge of the table as he faced her. "I'm just a little busy, but I'm not distancing myself."

"You believe that?" Devon raised a brow, doubt glinting across her eyes.

"Of course, silly." Lewis chuckled, raising his hand, and was about to stroke her hair when he stopped midway. He clenched his hand and discreetly withdrew his hand, but Devon suddenly grabbed it with both her hands and placed it on top of her head.

"See?" she said, pouting. "You're about to withdraw your hand, am I right?" 

"I realized I touched the food earlier. So..."
