"So that's what happened…" Cora murmured, nodding her head in understanding. Currently, Zoey explained to her 'what had transpired' last night. Of course, Zoey omitted some big parts for Cora's own good.

"But Z, err…" Cora trailed off, glancing at Matthew who was sitting on the edge of the bed while she was perched on the chair opposite them. Ivan, on the other hand, sulked on the long sofa as he was told to behave by Zoey. How unfair! 

He couldn't understand a word they were saying! Now he wondered if Zoey was taking Cora's side. But as he scrutinized their expression, it seemed they were discussing something else.
