It's been one year after her brother's death. Rin Chan now live on her own in S City, just around Ian and Tia's apartment.

When the elders found out about what Sean Chan did, they immediately went and see Ethan Lee.

They asked for forgiveness and to show their sincerity, they offered to take their own lives.

Ethan told them that he wasn't in the position anymore to decide things since he already passed down that power to Tia.

The elders asked to meet their new master, and offered their lives as a form of repentance but Tia refused their offer.

She told them that she doesn't hold anything against them, and that she understand that Sean Chan was an isolated case.

She told them that she forgive them under one condition...

The elders have to let Rin Chan be free from her duty as their guard.

Rin Chan and all the other members of the Chan household who had been chosen to serve the Lee family had taken a vow of celibacy.

They were raised just to serve the Lee household hence having a family was no option for them.

Rin Chan was of course against Tia's decision, in fact she was so ashamed of what her brother did that she wanted to take her own life as well but since their new master had given her a command, she had no choice but to oblige.

Tia told her that she could still visit them whenever she's free.

The truth is, Tia pity Rin Chan. She wasn't aware about her vow of celibacy before, it was only when Ian told her all about the Chan family back while she was recuperating at the hospital.

She felt that it's unfair for Rin Chan to live a life without having any choice. So she insisted that she must live in her own free will.

And that having to witness your own brother take his own life was traumatic, poor Rin Chan really needs to take a vacation.

And so, for over a year now, Rin Chan had been working as a part timer at a cafe just across Tia's apartment.

During her free time, she would go to a nearby gym and do some of her routines.

She reckoned that she still need to stay in shape just in case something came up and she need to protect her young miss and her young master "officially" again.

One day while she was doing her routine at the gym, a man came up to her.
