Stalker

"What?!!!! Are you stalking her?!!! I can't allow you to publish the webtoon if she doesn't have any consent."

Tony angrily replied. He wasn't really mad about Rin Chan's consent, what really makes him agitated is that other man knows more than him.

He was confused. Why would Rin Chan be Cole's neighbor? Why is she working at a tea shop? Since when? Why didn't she tell him? He wants answers.

Cole felt scared seeing his editor being mad. Tony aura was so cold that Cole was frozen in his seat.

"I... I'm not stalking her... No!! And I know we need her consent... That's why I drag you here. Since you're a professional, can you convince her to agree?"

Cole stutteringly said. He wasn't really stalking her. He believed chance encounters doesn't count as stalking.

" NO. "

Tony flatly replied to him. Cole was feeling dejected and like a kid who didn't get what he wanted, he pouts infront of Tony.

"Go home and look for someone else as inspiration. Any one but her."

Tony added. Cole stood up and went home feeling defeated. He thought as his editor Tony would help him out, he didn't expect that he would reject him and didn't even think about his decision.

Tony let out a sigh. He wouldn't let anyone invade Rin Chan's life let alone imagine and think about her.

No wonder Cole's art resembles Rin Chan, because it was indeed her. The story is about her.

He remembered a panel that the male protagonist met the female protagonist in an elevator a few times.

Then he got curious about her, he started to observe her and follow her around.

And one night on a rainy day, he went to her workplace he muster up all his courage and brought her an umbrella and that's where they became friends.

Eventually they grew fond of each other and lived happily ever after.

Tony knew that some of them weren't real and just Cole's wishful thinking.

What really bothers him was the fact that the elevator scene must've been real. She must've really attract attention by going home with lots of beer with her.

He knows she's not like that.

'But what changed?'

He asked himself. He was in deep thought when a young waitress walked up to their table and serve Cole's drink.

"Here's your order.. Anything else?"

The young female said. She was smiling onto Tony, Tony got startled and was pulled out of his trance.

"Wh..Where's Rin.. I mean 'Jade' ?"

"Oh,... She went to take her bre...ak."

"..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Tony hastily stood up and headed for the backdoor.
