Delivery

The next day, Rin Chan went to work at the tea shop.

Madam Pearl saw her and amiably smiled at her.

"Jade, how did your blind date go?"

"..."

Rin Chan just shook her head and madam Pearl's cheerful mood turn sad.

"Don't worry, we'll definitely find you a partner next time.."

Madam Pearl optimistically said. Rin Chan just smiled and went to greet the customers.

She have morning shift and so many patrons were ordering their favorite teas and lattes.

The customers come and go and so she didn't notice Tony entering the shop.

She walked up to his table and greeted him with a very friendly smile on her face.

"Hi, can I take your or.... der...? what the hell are you doing here?!!"

She said gnashing her teeth. She can't believe Tony would be in her workplace so early in the morning.

"Well I would like to order one Rin Chan please."

Tony teased. Rin Chan rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry it's not on the menu..."

"Oh yeah, well let me have a talk with the owner then."

"...."

Tony said, he knows madam Pearl was the one who kept Rin Chan going on blind dates.

"DON'T YOU DARE!"

Rin Chan threateningly looked at Tony while Tony just smiled at her. He likes seeing Rin Chan in different expressions.

"When's your end of shift?"

"None of your business..."

"I'll stay here and wait for you.. Give me americano double shot please."

Rin Chan turn around and went to the counter. A few minutes later she handed Tony a cup of hot chamomile tea.

Tony's heart warmed up but hid his delight.

He was pleased that Rin Chan still knows that he hated the taste of coffee.

"Thoughtful."

Tony whispered. Rin Chan heard him yet pretended like she didn't.

"What?"

"Nothing.."

"Tch."

Rin Chan went back and assisted other customers. After the rush hour Rin Chan was exhausted. She was sitting inside their locker room when her colleague Emi called her out.

"Kyaaaah-!! Jade delivery for you..."

Emi exclaimed. Curious, Rin Chan came out of the room and she was shocked to see a bouquet of 99 red roses and a large cuddly panda stuffed toy was delivered in her name.

The delivery boy handed her a card. Rin Chan read the note.

"Good Job."

Was all that's written in it. Her colleagues and the customers can't help but swoon with the very romantic gesture.
