He admits that he admire her. He knew if its Rin Chan, he wouldn't fear about losing her because of the kind of lifestyle that he have cause Rin Chan will be able to protect herself.

He figured that he can give his feelings for Rin Chan a chance.

He was so fond of her that he actually went and talk to Sean.

He asked for permission if he can pursue Rin.

He again clutched his hands, they both look the other way around, avoiding eye contact with each other.

They both exclaimed at the same time making things more awkward between them.
