24 Scarlet City

After passing the city gate of Scarlet City, the carriage stop at side of the road. two servant's came down first to assist the mysterious lady coming down. Some of the passerby stopped walking and bystanders can't help but look secretly at the lady.

The Group didn't bother when people looking at them or some people were whispering to each other. After the mysterious people were out of their sight, they resumed to their original business.

The mysterious group just goes to the inn and bought a room for two then goes respectively to their own room. The mysterious lady came near to the open window and observe the crowded market below her. Her eyes shone brightly behind the mask.

The eye-mask were made by a light materials to make it more comfortable to wear, and it was costumed-made by famous artisan. The style is lace Venetian eye-mask.The color of the mask were white with a touch of silver. The lace in the mask was also made of satin that added the beauty of the mask.

A knock was heard at the door afterwards someone came in. Liang Xinyue didn't look or turn around to look who it was.

A tall man wearing a black robe from top to bottom, he is the hidden guard that was assigned to serve her. This was also the same person who drove the carriage for her. "Lady Yue would you be going to the public market?" he asked.

She hummed in a great mood to answer him, still looking varieties of food below.

"Then Lady Yue, I'll scout the area first while you stroll." then disapeared.

A knock came again and this time it was Yin Shi and Chen Fu.Yin Shi spoke first "We are now ready to go miss Yue."

Liang Xinyue spoke in an excited tone. "sister Yin Shi, sister Chen Fu let's go eat tanghulu first and then a sweet potatoes and then a-" she listed all she wanted to eat.

Yin Shi chuckled and answered "Yes. yes. But dont wander too far from us and we will taste it all."

Liang Xinyue bobs her hair repeatedly. They saw that she really can't wait to go. This action softens their heart.

Being with her in these three years, they know how their young miss personality is. One, she is quiet when she is not excited or don't find anything interesting like they were traveling earlier. Two, she's talkative when it comes to food or when she is in a new place like now.

Chen Fu is quietly enjoying their time like this and let's her feel happy. She spoke gently to them. "Then lets go."

Liang Xinyue nod then grab both arms of Yin Shi and Chen Fu while they exited in the inn and to the market.

They looked like sisters going in out to enjoy the market. The youngest was Liang Xinyue because of her height was still smaller than them. Chen Fu looks like the eldest sister with the temperament of being quiet and dotes on her sisters, and Yin Shi was the one with big personality because of her liveliness and tomboyish actions.

They explored each food store and tasted many things, next they strolled near a river in the city. It was now night but the City was bright with red lanterns hanging above their heads. The city was famous for being called Scarlet City because most buildings in the city was red, even the lanterns are red and some is white which positioned their colors alternatively that added beauty to the city.

After buying a wind wheel they headed to a restaurant. Yin Shi walk forwardly and spoke to the waiter while Xinyue was holding to Chen Fu's arm and the other was holding the paper wind wheel while she look at it intently.

The customers inside the restaurant looks at them, especially to Liang Xinyue because of the eyes-mask she is wearing. But she ignored these stares since earlier.

Yin Shi asked "Is there an available private room in the second room? we would like to take if there is one."

The waiter have a sharp eyes and notice them when they entered. They look rich and noble, they have money so he was extra respectable when treating them. "Customers your lucky today. there are still two rooms available, One is a big room that cause 10 silvers while the other room is small that cause 5 silvers. which would you like?"

Yin Shi spoke in a kind manner "We will take the big room." then handed the 10 silvers.

The waiter took the silvers happily and guided them upstairs.

As soon they were in the second floor the people in the first floor made clamor and discussed their guesswork.

"Those girls looks like their nobles because they handed the money easily and they were both beautiful. Especially the quiet one and the other who spoke has good personality because the way she spoke is not overbearing. The only odd thing was the youngest who wore a mask." said one of the customers.

"I think they are merchant's daughters" while rubbing his chin said the other customer.
