Chapter Two

DRACO'S POV

Who does that mudblood think she is? Pathetic how does she not know who I am, I'm Draco Malfoy for fuck sake she's obviously new to the school. She's so full of it and her attitude pisses me off , I don't want want to be seeing her around but considering she's befriended Pansy I guess I might have to. If I'm going to be dealing with this bitch for another two years I might as well get some fun out of it.

Y/N'S POV

As we all entered the great hall I felt a lump in my throat and butterflies all fluttering in my stomach however despite my nerves I kept a brave face. Pansy had made her way to her houses table "New comers and first years please make a line at the front in order to be sorted into your houses there are: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Slytherin" a woman in a velvet emerald cloak announced. After all the first years had been sorted the professor called my name "Y/N Riddle"

Everyone stopped and turned to look at me all I could hear was whispers and I looked around and met eyes with a familiar silver eyed boy, and noticed a devilish smirk appear on his face. I glanced away and walked over to the professor and sat on the stool as she placed the sorting hat on my head.

"Mmm very difficult" the hat spoke " plenty of courage and not a bad mind either however also have a thirst to prove yourself yes very cunning" the hat gave a slight pause "guess there's only one house to place you..... SLYTHERIN!"

I let of a sigh of relief and walked over to my table to sit next to Pansy "I knew you'd make it into Slytherin " she smiled "say I don't have a roommate, I currently have a dorm to myself and it got me thinking would you like to share a dorm with me" Pansy continued

"Yes sounds perfect" I added. The feast carried on as we chatted about family and our schedules however I kept feeling a cold pair of eyes watching my every move

The feast had ended and Pansy and I were on our way back to our dorm when I heard a voice

"Y/N!" I turned round to see who was calling me and to my surprise it was Draco. "What do you want Malfoy?" I rolled my eyes

"Been talking about me eh Riddle" Draco said looking chuffed with himself "don't flatter yourself Malfoy you wish I was simply just asking Pansy who you was considering you were a prick towards me"

Draco scoffed "well you weren't the nicest either may I just add and just because your Riddle doesn't mean I'm going to put up with your attitude you see I actually came to apologize"

I chucked at his response "and enlighten me, what are you going to do about it?" I whispered "oh you'll see don't worry Riddle" Draco winked

I simply rolled my eyes "come on Pansy let's go" we walked back to our dorm and started to unpack all our things "so what was that all about with Malfoy" Pansy broke the silence "I have no idea is he always so annoying?" Pansy laughed "I guess you could say that he's not use to anyone talking back to him" I sat down on my bed and looked to Pansy with confusion "and why's that?"

"Draco seems to think that because of who is family is it gives him the right to treat people however he wants, I'd just be careful if I were you Draco is full of surprises and due to you talking back to him I think that's got his attention"

I nodded my head "oh I'm not worried" I laughed "think it's Draco who should be scared of me" Pansy laughed "well I'm going to go down to the common room for a bit, you coming?"

"Oh I'm fine here I'm probably just going to freshen up and then go to bed" I stood up from my bed and walked over to my desk and wiped my makeup off "okay if you need me I'm only downstairs" and with that Pansy left shutting the door behind her

I walked into the bathroom and took my clothes off and stepped in the shower, the hot water ran down my body as I washed my hair with my green apple scented shampoo after I finished washing my hair and body I turned the shower off and wrapped a black towel round my body and walked back into the dorm.

I put on my black laced pyjamas and dryed my hair I got into bed when I heard a knock on the door.

I got up and walked over towards the door "Pansy did you forget you key" I opened the door and looked up getting lost in Dracos beautiful silver eyes "Do I look like Pansy?" He raised his eyebrows snapping me out of my thoughts "what do you want" Malfoy let himself into my dorm and sat down on my bed "um I don't remember inviting you in"

"Yeah well I kinda do what I want around here" he said in a sarcastic tone "right well what do you want" his smug attitude was really getting on my nerves

"I noticed you weren't in the common room with Pansy so I figured I'd catch you alone" Draco added looking me up and down

"Right well when you've finished drooling over there I'm really tired so can you leave"

Draco laughed to himself "me? Drooling over you? You wish Riddle, I'll see you around" he walked out the door as I muttered to myself "arsehole" I shut the door and climbed back into bed trying to make myself comfortable.

After tossing and turning for a good hour I finally managed to get to sleep , let's just see what tomorrow brings me ..
