Heroic Soul
- Bang!
Ra appeared outside the portal, thick white smoky energy seemed to rise from his body like a burning fire, he lay on the floor of the classroom disoriented, Instructor Shizune approached him, concern, shock, and confusion, these emotions twisted her face.
"Young Master Usfur, are you alright?"
Glancing at the others, "Quickly, Find a healer!"
"Yes!" a few of the faster recruits nodded and immediately sprinted off.
Instructor Shizune began laying down a formation to detect what might've gone wrong, sensing something odd, she prodded deeper, her eyes open suddenly when she felt the strength in his soul.
"This child...He's awakened a Heroic Soul"
She was stunned by this, the successful recruits had awakened at most a Guardian Soul, even those who had failed had at least awakened Knight Souls, but Heroic souls are far too rare, every slayer who had succeeded in awakening a Heroic soul had gone on to become immortal existences, able to challenge even the most powerful Dragons alone, their abilities were unmatched, even the defenses surrounding Slayer Academy were laid by such an existence.
"Boy...who are you?"
The girl Hannah York was flashing around the islands with great speed, she moved so fast she easily ran across the water unhindered, her head on a swivel she kept her eyes peeled for anyone who might be able to help, when she saw a tall figure in deep crimson armor, his beard was long and white like freshly fallen snow, he gazed at the islands with a serene look, Hannah flashed again as her speed increased, she appeared before the figure and hastily bowed.
"Headmaster!"
"Oh?" The man who was Headmaster of Slayer Academy was not shocked at all by the girls suddem appearance, seeing the girl breathing heavily, he extended a finger and tapped the girl on the head.
Hannah felt surprised as her Spirit and energy were instantly restored.
"Thank you, Headmaster" she said, bowing again.
The Headmaster waved his hand patiently.
"Think nothing of it, tell me what has you in such a hurry."
"Yes Headmaster, a recruit in my class collapsed upon exiting the soul formation, Instructor Shizune sent me to find a healer."
"Collapsed you say?" he stroked his beard absently
"Bring me to him."
Nodding excitedly, Hannah turned and began to race back to Class 2, looking to her side where the Headmaster walked, yes walked, alongside her as if he were merely taking a stroll in the park, her heart felt complicated, wondering what it took to become so strong.
They arrived before the entrance of Class 2 in a short period of time, entering the small building they quickly made their way into the room, where they found Ra sitting up holding his head, he seemed to be in a small amount of pain but otherwise ok.
Instructor Shizune glanced up, and upon seeing who had arrived, quickly shifted her body into a half kneeling position and lowered her head slightly.
"Headmaster" she breathed.
