Don't Skip

The commotion drew a large crowd and the two of them were soon surrounded, The steely gaze Ra used to pressure the girl was gone, however, she didn't dare move. Still smiling, "Your name? he asked again. knowing she had no other way out of this situation, "Sophira"

The blade in Ra's hands disappeared, he grinned, "See you around, Sophira" he said before walking away. Sophira stood for a moment before collapsing onto her heels, her hair hung loosely in front of her face, silently she fumed. "I'll get you for this" she swore quietly.

Gathering as much of her remaining dignity as possible, she left in the opposite direction. Ra continued his way towards the cafeteria, his arms were folded behind his head as he began whistling in a self assured manner.

Arriving at the cafeteria he encountered the rest of Class 2 in a small crowd beside the lunch line, the crowd seemed to be agitated as it was noisy and there was a constant jostling visible from outside the crowd, curious, Ra approached the crowd.

As he got closer he saw a recruit with his face bloodied, his clothes were torn in places and it seemed as if he was prepared to collapse, however the surrounding crowd was apparently keeping him from doing so as there was no space to fall, joining the crowd Ra saw the recruit who had beaten him to such a state, It was an extremely beautiful girl, her age seemed to be around 16, she had long red hair and her eyes were stark white, she didn't appear to be angry but Ra knew that looks could be deceiving, her arms were folded, but a continuous wave of pure white energy seemed to encase her being, opening her hand, the energy began to resemble stardust, rapidly changing colors as it swirled within her palm, she closed her hand around it, and then spinning like a small tornado she lunged out with her fist as if she was prepared to kill him! Ra's body flickered and in the next moment he appeared next to the girl holding her wrist, dispersing her energy, he let her go. "He'll die, Bast" he said while smiling, The girl called Bast looked up at him in shock, but upon seeing who he was, she smiled, and the temperature in the room seemed to warm, As if her smile was enough to banish cold and ills, everyone began to feel good in their hearts, Bast immediately latched onto Ra's arm, she was beaming, shooting one last cold glare at the poor boy she had been ruthlessly attacking, she pulled Ra towards the food.

Speaking as they walked. "When did you arrive?" asked Ra. rolling her eyes at him "Well before you did, why are you always late? do you know how long I waited? honestly, if you cannot even be bothered to be on time on a day like this--" "Okay, okay! I get it!" Ra laughed. "In my defense, I was sleeping"

" That isn't much of a defense at all" she retorted. "Well, whatever, I'm here now, and as the only Platinum ranked Emblem holder at the Academy I doubt that apart from you, anyone is going to make things difficult for me because of a bit of tardiness" he grinned.

"You are so full of yourself!" she countered. but there was a huge smile on her face, she was incredibly happy for him, everyone knew Ra was talented, everyone also knew Ra was lazy, thinking about this point, Bast sighed.

"Big dummy" she murmured. smiling up at him from her position on his arm "Let's eat together" she said "Sure thing" Ra replied, and they stepped in at the back of the line to await their turn.

Ra and Bast were engaged in their conversation discussing the properties of interdimensional spatial magic within magic arrays when they were distracted by two guys ahead of them loudly greeting their friends approaching the line, as the friends of the two neared others in the back gave them weird looks, but they ignored them, continuing onward to meet up with their friends, after a short conversation one of the friends proposed, "Hey, you're here, this line is pretty long, how about you skip me and i skip you back?" this immediately elicited a response from the people behind them.

"No! you can't do that, go to the back of the line!" The various recruits began to complain. smiling, the newcomers chose to ignore them, "Sure, thanks!" he answered.
