1 Into It

(Trigger Warning!)

I've been on the road since I was sixteen

They don't really notice how I see things

These girls they come and go between my bedsheets

And I've been doing blue and causing big scenes yeah

Pull up and I'm higher than the big trees yeah

She don't really like it but she needs me yeah

She saying she don't really miss me

But fuck it now I'm faded off the wrong things, yeah

But I'm into it, I'm into it

{Background Story 3rd POV}

Playing in the background Chase Atlantic- Into it, Andi whose 16 was laying on her bed, many thoughts running through her mind, but one thought stands out and that's suicide. It's not my fault, I think this way, it's someone else's, I blame my mother and her many stupid boyfriends.

She can hear yelling and things being thrown from under her, downstairs her mother and her boyfriend fights, it's always about whose turn it is to pay bills or whose going to buy the food tonight.

Most of all they fight to see who is cheating on who, pretty sure both is cheating on one another.

Getting tired of all the drama, she walks over to her dresser pulling open the bottom draw feeling around for a bit until she finds what she's looking for.

Pills, she doesn't know what kind, but it's enough to overdose, closing the drawer back she walks to the door and stands there a minute, they're still going at it.

Opening the door she quietly walks to the bathroom at the end of the hall careful not to step on any creaky floorboards.

Finally making it to the bathroom she locks the door and turns on the sink letting the water run, looking at herself in the mirror she looks disgusted, at herself and the way she is living, at her mother and the way she's living, at everything because it's the world's fault she's doing this.

Still looking in the mirror a tear falls, then more, until finally she couldn't handle it anymore and was silently bawling.

After a few minutes of crying she takes a steady breath, reaching over she puts the stopper in the sink letting the water fill up.

Taking the bottle of pills she pops the cap off pouring them in her hand.

Taking a shaky breath staring at the pills in her hand she takes another look in the mirror before putting the entire handful in her mouth, closing her mouth she picks up the cup next to the sink filling it up with water and washes them down in one go.

Turning she sits in the tub patiently waiting for death to consume her, only sounds she hears is her beating heart, slow breathing, running water and arguing still going on downstairs.

"I wonder how long it'll take them to realize I'm gone." she said to herself

She closed her eyes feeling herself slowly drift, the water is already overflowing the sink, seeping through the crack under the door and down the stairs.

The door bell rings and Andi's mother Sanaa goes to answer it, opening the door there stood a blonde named Angeline, Andi's one and only best friend.

"Hey Ms. G, is Andi home? She isn't answering her phone and it's not like her" Angeline said holding up her phone showing Sanaa all the messages that were sent to her daughter.

"Yeah she's upstai-" she was cut off

"Sanaa where is all this water coming from?" Chris Sanaa's boyfriend asked stepping up the stairs.

Turning and walking inside she walks over to Chris, looking down at the water running from upstairs, craning her neck to see up stairs she calls up "Andi! Did you leave the tub running?"

No sound.

Angeline steps in a bad feeling forming in her stomach, "Maybe we should go see?"

Chris nodded walking up the stairs "I'll see where the water is coming from you two check on Andi"

Making their way upstairs Angeline and Sanaa walks to Andi's room while Chris follows the water trail.

Opening the door Angeline sticks her head in "Andi? You ok babes?"

No sound.

Angeline steps in and so does Sanaa, flipping the switch they see the room is empty.

"Hey! Andi you in there?" Chris yells through the door "Turn the water off will you? You have water all down the stairs geez kid."

No sound.

"Hey Andi! I know you can hear me!" He said louder knocking on the door.

"Oh no." Angeline said running down the hall to the bathroom.

"What? What's wrong?" Sanaa asked following behind the teen worry heard clear in her voice.

Jiggling the doorknob she bangs on the door "No no no."

"What's the matter?" Chris asks looking at Angeline.

"Help me get the door open!" she said.

Sanaa comes up. "Why?"

Turning to face the adults they saw she had tears streaming down her face, and they knew immediately something was wrong.

"Chris!" Was all Sanaa said before he moved Angeline out of the way and kicked down the door, the three of them scrambled in the bathroom to see the sink overflowed, a pill bottle floating in the water and Andi non moving in the tub.
