Marcus only arrived at the place indicated on the map early in the morning. It had only been a few minutes since the sun had begun to rise over the horizon, tinting the clouds that covered the sky with an amalgam of reddish and orange colors, bathing the entire land with its light. Same light that immediately made his stats plummet to the ground, reaching only a little higher than those of a normal person.

As he walked, Marcus felt the annoying twinge in his back, caused by the solar energy. Although he wasn't being harmed by the sunlight, partly because of the layers of clothing he was wearing and the clouds covering the sky, he still found the solar energy irritating. Normally he preferred to spend the daylight hours indoors. But for now, he didn't have that option. So he just kept walking.
