A New World

Rian woke up.

He saw an unfamiliar celling, it was make of wood insted of the normal concrete. He immediately, jump down from his bed only to realized he doesn't sleep on a bed but a stack of hay.

He scan his surrounding in confusion, the place he standing right now look like a rundown shack, with barely anything except his "bed" with an axe silently sitting in a corner, and a crossbow is next to the axe.

"Where am I?"

Rian said to himself, he looked around more carefully to find at least a hint why he is here to no avail.

"The fuck is this place"

Rian started to get irritate, but he calm down since he know this is no time to get work up. He begin to carefully remember all his memories.

He was walking home after a normal day at work, there was no car on sight when he walk pass the road, he walked normally until he get home so there no way he get isekai like those novels he used to read when he was a kid.

He do remembered having a nice sleep on his bed, but then his memories cut off there, there was no more than that so he to a conclusion that he somehow get transmigrated in this body.

By the look of this shack he know that this body former owner is a nobody, he doesn't know why but he feel nothing good will come out of this kind of background.

He walked to a nearby axe, it looked worn down, and then Rian looked outside to see walls of tree surrounding his shack.

"So a lumberjack or a hunter huh."

Nothing too impressive but the axe and crossbow was somewhat decent so he doesn't have to worried about self-defend.

After holding the axe for 10 minutes to get used to it weight, he also realized that he was too calm for all that was happenning to him, he know if someone in his shoe they would most likely to have a panic attack but his hearth was calm and he isn't feeling any particular about himself.

"Maybe I read too much novel so I kinda expect this to happened, well I guess time well spent"

He know how absurd his respond and his situation are, but there nothing he can do about it.

"You know I have a college degree right?", Rian rebuked

<That doesn't changed host's IQ>, the voice was emotionless but Rian still feel like this system is mocking him.

"Oi, you shitstem if you wanna go I will go", Rian insult the system.

If an onlookers were to see this they will quitely move on on their life without looking at this mental person. Rian also know this but this shack is too lonely even for him having someone to talked to was already a blessing and he doesn't felt offend by system remarked either.

After the panel fade and the voice come to an end, a flood of informations came to him. He finally know where he is and how much of a danger he currently in.

This planet was named Evandel, and the continent he in right now is called Eaststar you guess it, it situated in the East of the planet, he still doesn't know which kingdom he in, there are hundreds nations in Eaststar so he still clueless.

But something more fascinatingis that this world isn't normal Earth but a place with real magical phenomenon that you will never see on Earth.

And it all come from Innate Talent, a thing every being in this planet awaken when they reached the age of 1. The Talent they gained is pretty much RNG there no pattern that can be find yet so people on this planet can only pray for the RNG God.

In the informations, Rian also see different type of Talent, like Physical Talent, Weapon Talent, and Magic Talent there definitely be more but this three type were the main. Information about other type of Talents doesn't classified as common sense so the system doesn't add those in.

He also know more about the general culture of this continent, what surprised him was that the culture of Eaststar is quite similar to Asia on Earth but with some mixed Western culture like the hierarchy system and some minor change.

But something greatly disturded Rian was that the heaven isn't favoured the human but every being in this planet have a blessing, even a bug could have a Godly Talent that could slit the Heaven and Earth. And Rian is in the the middle of a forest.

But the system had reassured him that this forest doesnt have strong blessing beast, that was also why the former owner of this body still alive and kicking until Rian come. He assumed that the former owner have some incureable disease before pass away so that Rian can take his place.

Rian felt like his brain about to burst, by the knowledge and by the pain he in trying to take all of this informations.

"AHGHHH....FUCK!!!", Rian screamed while spasm aross the wooden floor.

The system voice sounded in his head, like a messiah gently save him from near death situation.

He look dead at the system prom, he felt like this system is constantly mocking him out of nowhere, but he let this go this time since it just save his ass but not nex time.

"So... what can you do, do you give me OP Talent or give me power to copy other Talent? Or you are a DualCultvation system?...", Rian is in his own world right now think about all the super duper OP a system usually give.

Hearing the system voice, a the already inflated vein almost poped out of his head.

3 panels appeared before Rian's eyes, he carefully read all of them and come to a conclusion.

"This motherfucker system, why are you so unreliable"

He have a theory that maybe the system took too much energy tranfering him here, but still where is his super duper OP system?. 'Whatever this is real life and not some novel anyways, it not like a pie is going to dropped from the sky'.

Rian look outside his makeshift window to make sure no pie have fallen from the sky or some kind of valueble gem dropped by an immortal.

Feeling he's losing braincell overthinking about those cliche moment in manhua, he go back and jumpdown his haystack trying to sleep paast the days and wait for the system to save enough energy to be useful.

Seeing his stats, though he not excatly sure how strong he is but he quite sastified becuase he like balanced class the most in videogame, since this is real he would definitely chose to focus more on a specificity stats.

'Which one... well let decied later", Rian didn't know much about all the stats represented some are easy to understand like STR and END but he don't know what INT and WIS will do so he will asked the system later when it go out of hiberation.

Seeing his Talent still unawaken he didn't felt discourage, he just have to wait seven days and he has plenty of time to pray the RNG God for godly talent.

*Rumble*

He looked down to see his stomach and realized that it is as empty as air.

"Ahg... Fine, let go hunting for food"

Rian come closer to the corner where he place the axe and crossbow. He picked up the crossbow and loaded a singel bolt into the crossbow.

"Shit, I'm only have oneshot? How the fuck the former owner keep on living for so long!"

Feeling a bit distressed, Rian also picked up the axe for more reassurance.

He come close to his makeshift door and opened it to be greeted by the vast forest, the tree is lush green with the sound of bird chirpping, occasion howling of the wolf, and wailing sound of terror from wild animal. Make he realized how much danger he is in, but his will and empty stomach keep him calm, like a predator he gazed the into the "Abyss".

He take a deep breath. And closed his eyes

He open his eyes withn a confident smile.

"How do I hunt?".
