6 Chapter Seven

Three days later

Corey's POV

It's been three days since I did those terrible things to the beautiful angel sleeping in front of me. I want her to wake but I guess she's not ready yet.

"Corey!?" Kai screamed. Music to my ears. I jumped out of the chair next to the bed and sat next to her rubbing her hands, to show her that I was here.

"I'm here, Kai. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere unless you are with me. I'm so sorry for what I did. I never should have done that. I'm ashamed of myself, and I understand if you want me to leave you alone. All I ask is that you let me show you that I am telling you the truth about wanting you and only you for the rest of my life." I bent down and kissed her hand, and began rubbing her cheek. What happened next, I was astonished that it even happened. She flew off the bed and into my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck and holding on for dear life.

I was so happy, I wrapped my arms around her and held on. Not to tight, I didn't want to hurt her.

"Corey, I'm alright. My head is healed up and I'm perfectly fine. I forgive you, and I understand that it's not easy to give up your life just like that. I get it okay. As for letting you show me that you only want me and only me? I'm not sure yet. I care about you, Corey, a lot. I always will, because you are my mate. It's going to take time for all this to be fixed. I really want to love you and be loved by you, but it is going to take time." Not long after she stopped talking, I went to respond but I heard my door open and I hear her voice.

"Corey, baby. I have missed you, where have you been these past three days? Everyone said that you haven't left your room all because of her. I thought you chose me, not her?" Then she turned towards Kai and gave a disgusted look. "Corey, I swear you better choose now, me or her? If you chose her there will be hell to pay!"

Kai looked at me for a moment then turned away, a sad look on her face. I wasn't lying, I will show her that I want her and only her. "Well, Cammie, I hate to be the barrier of bad news, but I choose MY MATE. I will always chose her over you any day." I knew all hell was going to break loose but I don't care. As long as I have Kai, I don't care about anything else.

Cammie stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

"Kai, you and I are going to be spending a lot of time together. I hope you know that and I will beat the hell out of anyone who tries to get you, I promise." No sooner I stopped talking, she jumped off my bed and wrapped her arms around me squealing with what sounded like joy.
