8 Chapter Nine

Corey's POV

I was on the kitchen when I heard the whistles erupt in the living room, and curiosity got the best of me, so I went to see who was getting all the attention. Just as I got to the doorway I smelt her. The perfect blend of waterfall mist, whiskey and strawberries. Weird combination I know but that's how I knew it was her.

When I saw her and what she was wearing that's when I realized that it was her that was causing all the guys to whistle like that. It made me angry that other guys where noticing how sexy she looked.

Ace, my wolf, started getting pissed at the fact that other male wolves were attracted to his mate, so he let out a growl. She must have heard because she instantly turned towards me and blushed. I heard a whimper from my left and saw Cammie out if the corner of my eye.

Fuck her. We have our mate and that's all that matters. Ace said smirking. That of course made me smile. He was finally happy with me. He hadn't talked to me since all that shit at school. So with him finally talking to me I was happy that I am doing the right thing.

I took Kenzie by the hand and led her to my truck and what she did shocked me. She put in a mix CD and began to sing the first song which was "You are the Music In Me" from High School Musical 2. As she was singing I was completely in awe mode. I had no idea she could sing, let alone look and sound like an angel.
