17 Fusion of powers

Baxter Building.

After opening a portal, Peter scanned the building and found the 4 gathered in a large meeting room, using his camouflage he arrived in front of them and was surprised to see that everyone already had their powers, but something looked different with Ben.

The characteristic size of and the stone skin him that made him "the thing" was gone, and now he looked a little bigger and only his skin looked tougher.

(Perhaps, it was because he didn't let the cosmic clouds affect him that much?)

As Peter thought, he noticed that there wasn't much change with the other 3, Reed, Susan, Ben, and Johnny talking about their new powers and the consequences they could cause.

While listening to them argue, Peter began to notice that his nose was bleeding, the blood coming out of his body could not be camouflaged, so before he fell to the ground he opened a small portal without anyone noticing.

After leaving and looking for a secluded room, Peter had time to check his body.

After half an hour, Peter stopped feeling his body changing and noticed how his temperature was higher and his camouflage evolved.

For a moment no one said anything and the four of them were tense until Reed decided to speak.

As he said this, Reed began to calculate in his mind how much the masked man had heard of their conversation and what he wanted from them.

Peter knew that Reed was just buying time to make a plan, he didn't care, and he decided to continue the conversation.

"You're so smart, Reed, but getting back to your question, I'm Spider-Man and I came to tell you a couple of things".

"Spider-Man? Weren't you a woman?". A confused Johnny said, the others only listened with curiosity since they also knew of a supposed heroine who called herself the same, but they never believed they had powers until it happened to them themselves.

"That's Spider-ghost, I'm another one, and you could say that more people like us will only keep appearing".

"As we say? What do you mean?". Susan says, somewhat confused by the whole situation, since she still wasn't clear about how the powers worked.

"I'm referring to the powers you recently developed, for example, the invisibility you developed, Miss Susan, or Reed's elasticity".

"Alright spider, you better talk, or I'll crush you".

"Is that the way to thank me for saving you, Ben? Also, tone down your tone or your stone skin will be destroyed from the beating I'll give you".

"Ben, stop!" After calming Ben down, Reed analyzes all the information he has gathered so far and comes to a conclusion.

Being shocked, the others only saw a blink and suddenly the masked man was behind Johnny, Ben who thought they were being attacked, charged towards Peter to attack since he knew that he was very strong now.

Reed and Susan did not have time to react to the situation, when Ben had already arrived in front of Peter and was going to hit him, Johnny could only watch stunned at how someone could move so fast and how Ben lunged like a mass with his powerful fists.

Peter, who felt nothing from Ben's blow, knew that it was a short fuse and decided to put him to sleep.

Feeling a strong blow against his neck, Ben groaned in pain and lost consciousness until he fainted. Susan, who had already become invisible, was approaching her brother and Reed was devising a plan of attack against the apparent masked man who was moving quickly and could Easily knock out Ben.

Johnny, who was now panicking, started to catch fire, Peter felt his hot hand, but surprisingly it didn't burn him.

The temperature in the environment was increasing, Susan who was now close to Johnny lost her invisibility and withdrew since she could not stand the heat.

Seeing how everything got out of control, Peter decided to calm Johnny down and knocked him out, just like Ben.

After the temperature dropped, Reed attacked along with Susan, Peter who was tired of how irrational they were being, decided to knock them all out and tie them up, knocking out Reed was easy since he wasn't that strong, he discovered Susan with his sense arachnid.

After tying them up, she used a cold spell on Johnny and waited for them to wake up so she could explain the situation once and for all.

After untying them, Peter proceeded to chat more calmly with the 4 of them.

"So who are you, and why do you have a costume? Also, how did you find me?". Susan asked curiously.

"That's a secret".

"I see, and what's your name? Since you know our names". she asks again.

"It's also a secret". she answers Peter again.

"So? How many secrets do you keep from us? Because you know a lot about us, including where we live, but we don't know anything about you". Reed says, somewhat annoyed at not having any information about Peter.

"That doesn't matter, all you have to know is that I am not your enemy, besides, in the future whether you like it or not we will cooperate".

"I'd rather hit you than cooperate with you". Ben says.

"I'm starting to think that it would have been better to abandon you in space to die". Peter knew that Ben was temperamental, so he didn't get angry over something as silly as a tantrum, but the others did take his warning seriously.
