2 Chapter 1

"Ahhhhhhh" I was woken up by a scream. Gripping my ears, trying to block out the irritating noise of Marina. 'probably had another bloody nightmare again' I thought to myself. "Zero, Zero wake up please Marina needs help," an annoyance called Michael shock me awake. "Why me? Go ask the matrons," I growl at him while glaring. "Please, you know how they are, the matrons scare Marina," he whined and begged me. I sighed and said fine, so we headed towards her.

The next morning I was so exhausted from dealing with Marina.  'I mean like seriously can't I just sleep and be left alone, well the answer is simple "a big fat NO". The reason is I'm the most responsible kid here and I'm only ten, who cares there are others who are older pick someone else,' rant's to myself.

The head matron looked at me like I was crazy, 'I hope I didn't say that out loud' I thought to myself. The matron was looking at me like that because I didn't answer her question, whatever it was, 'woman don't blame me I'm tired'. So she repeated the question when I asked, "So, Zero are you going to go downstairs for breakfast now or later". 'Oh that's what the question was all about wonderful, well I should answer her I'll just say later so I can catch up on some sleep'. " I'll have some later head matron," after that she nodded and left. I layed back down embracing the darkness that welcomed me to the black void of sleep and hopefully a nice dream.
